I've just measured and it's 22mm at lugs, but 20mm at the buckle.

So I just ordered the VSF V2 from TS, unfortunately QC pics are more consistent with the case and guard used on the rep on page 4 then that on the reps on page 5. Any recommendations?

It means I must have been just lucky with mine and the situation is similar to PAM111 in another thread where you might get V3, or a mix of V3 and V4 parts.
VSF either just mix the parts or they have old and new stock they give out to dealers. I didn't expect mine to be of a new shape and I would have just accepted the old type, but as we know there is a new one around, I would just explain the situation and ask them for another example. They might be able to request the new type from the factory. Good luck!

I really wish I hadn't seen this thread haha. I'll be adding one once the v2's are flowing along with a nice sub, than I'm done . I'll focus on my strap collection and serving/mods. DAMN this watch is beautiful.
