For those not in love with the pearl, here's my attempt at redoing it.
I carefully used a thin blade and twisted it into the old pearl until it came out in one chunk.
I used noctilumina's tan lume powder (TG45F) and mixed it 1:1 with their 1A binder. After filling the pearl cup about half way with the mix, I let it dry and applied a thin clear top coat of binder.
The result is that the pearl now closely matches the hands. The bezel hash marks and dial dots still have a little more orange in them. Not perfect, but for a first attempt by an amateur, I like it!
