u b@astards just made me send over $330 to Sora. unk:
Pics on kuvarsit website are very nice as usual.
I hope they fix that pearl, because I so love the bezel and CG on this rep that I might find myself buying it in any case!
Regarding the ST2555, I hope they will use it, but I'm afraid that they will not. Just as they did with the bronzo they might want to sell as many expensive pieces as they can
Just wondering if you have tested the CG Pin on the V6F version. Just received mine from Angus and the CF Pin is pretty loose unlike PAM243 (Noob) from PureTime or my Gen Panerai
Do you mean it is not tight when it's closed? If so this has been hit and miss in my reps. My 508 shuts tight.
Mine didnt have that wiggle you are describing but it didnt close with much friction like my 359 or my 286. I wonder if that had to do with the difference between SS & ceramic. I am sure the Gen's ceramic likely happens with some friction when opening & closing
Enjoy ur new watch Peter. Do u know if u are getting the cracked black strap? I actually dig it a lot. It starts out dryer than the desert which is prime for pre distressing it. Once u take a nail to it or even some sand paper, it becomes so much better. I ended up using some Obenaufs to get some moisture into after my pre distressing. That treatment also darkened the under part of the leather which will make for some nice contrast. I plan on treating it a few more times before allowing it to do its own thing.
I also bought a distressed brown strap from Panatime today and will add the dlc buckle that came with the rep strap. Hoping it matches well because Panatime has maybe the worst photo's on the planet.

ahh, i just saw this. great advice. thanks
No worries. Its inmportant to use a nail or something to pick at the cracked top layer before any oiling. Helps that its dry. Once i did that i sanded it down with some fine sand paper to even out the top layer a bit. After that I treated it which also sealed the leather and made it less likely to flake but also softened it up at an amazing rate.. I actually enjoyed this one
