Panasol, that strap looks awesome! What don't you like about it? Is it looks, too stiff, what? Just keep bending it a bunch to loosen it up a little if it's just too stiff. Otherwise, I've had GREAT luck with www.panatime.com and www.roccostraps.com is really great too! The Heavy Weather strap you are looking at is pretty awesome too from the looks of it. I'd say a minimum of three straps per watch. Just be careful with those damn lug screws, investing in a perfect screwdriver is a must!

It appears the pearl is the same as received by Polonus, it looks indeed way better IRL.

Congratulations! The funny thing with this pearl is that it is VERY difficult to get photographed the way owner sees it. Looks like camera logic destroys it...

I totally agree with Polonus.
Once I opened the package my first thought was "OMG they got the pearl perfect!"
In pics the camera catches the reflection of the transparent glossy upper layer of the pearl and makes it look different than in real life. I'll see if I can make it look as I see it once I pull off my camera.
In any case this rep is impressing me even more than the bronzo. I don't know if it's the color scheme, the ceramic case or what...

Regarding the strap, well no one noticed (and somehow this was the purpose) but I really liked the look of the rep strap... so I had Orloff make a rep of it! :lol:
It's a bit lighter in color than the rep one, more greish-brownish, they just go so well together

Orloff is just fantastic. Good overall quality for a very fair price -- and the man works pretty damn fast, especially since Mario probably receives many orders. Your customized strap is really nice, Kilo.

don't judge me wrong but as I've said before my main concern about this release was the awful strap...

it makes the watch unwearable...it almost feels like paper...
anyway , I tried to find the gen one,,the black distressed panerai strap but I got no luck at paneristi...
So I went with , I think , the best second option, the Mario Paci distressed strap

I am wondering why everybody is saying the rep strap is as awful.

I am owning the Rep and the oem panerai distressed strap (on my gen 510). Actually the oem one feels like paper aswell so the rep isnt as bad as all are saying
