Hey guys,

Just ordered 2x KW Bronzo Seagull from Toro...waiting to see QCs, already sent him a picture of the gen CG so that he doesn't have to run around for the obvious clues. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

GoodLuck man! Hope he gets a good one. this current batch is iffy. Look out for the correct Crown size as well. Please post pics when you get them

Thanks dude, I'll need the luck! I'm getting two btw so this will be a make or break kinda thing.

Honestly though, seeing all the weird CG problems is making my heart sinking a little...

Here we go guys, QCs of two KW 382 from Toro. Please help me out here and let me know what you see.

Here's what I see about the two watches:

Watch no.1:
- 15 and 45 bezel marker are crooked.
- Lug screws are not flat
- No chamfering on the crown guard inner and corner.
- Crown looks very far away from the case, and is not a fat crown
- CG lever looks not uniform at the pivoting point
- Canon pinion looks very different from watch 1

Watch no.2:
- Date wheel looks not algined
- 12 o'clock marker looks very slanted, and one is higher than the other
- Crown is not a fat crown.
- CG lever looks weird on the pivoting point
- Lug screws maybe too long (sticks out at both end of the lug)
- Canon pinion looks very different from watch 1 (interesting...)

Why are the canon pinions differ that much???

To be honest I would wait to see if KW comes out with a new batch this summer. If not I would go with ZF. The color is off. Trust me. A reason why I got rid of mine after 3 days.

These bronzos are such good reps, and with the seagull mvmt, the price is so good for a real bronze watch I cannot imagine any more time and effort going into "fixing" minor imperfections that only us rep enthusiasts can pick up on. Remeber, this is a rep and the gen is over 25k! Its not a Tag or Omega that could have 3-4 floating around the work place for comparison.

As an original pre-sale bronzo owner who still remembers the pain of the 1st very flawed KW batch getting dumped locally and the painful wait for the 2nd batch to arrive, I can tell you I would have approved these QC pics in a heart beat.

Looking back, im sure I could have found a list a mile long wrong with my 382 out the post, but after 2 years of abuse, cleaning, polishing, diving, katsup, cape cods, sand ect, the Bronzo keeps going strong.

BINGO! I'd say you hit the nail on the head! I wouldn't trade mine for any new version at this point. Whatever minor flaws each version may have is irrelevant in the scheme of things. These are great pieces as is..........

I understand your point of view.
However, I can not agree regarding "new faults" implemented on newer versions.
A new version is supposed to make and step forward, not backbards. :ffuu:

Also bronze is not an expen$ive material at all, I would say is quite cheap.
Different, nice looking (I love bronzos), but cheap indeed.

I can't even see the bezel markers on yours and considering how slanted the ones were on the first watch I refused, given time, I doubt I would even notice too

I did... I think I am going go with the ZF version. we shall see.

Not many people with zf, seems like everyone buys kw. Really disappointed how they went backwards with the latest version. I don't even understand how it goes from the right crown to a wrong crown.

I just ordered a ZF V4 - I can´t figure out if they are all to the pink side or if it is only some of them? I have the impression that - apart from the bronze - the ZF is a more correct rep. - sure I will be corrected if I am wrong. But I would really like to hear from ZF owners about the color? Anyway cleaned and abused in the Ocean the pink will be all gone. Will be back with qc pic if I am in doubt.
