PAM 1312 from VSF Released!

A few observations from when I was taking the pictures, however I am sure that my comments are rudimentary compared to those that will come from the resident PAM whisperers...

• CG pin is polished on both, however this is not always captured in pictures due to reflections.
• Rep's date and "L SWISS MADE L" fonts appear to be slightly fatter than gen.
• CG engravings on the rep are noticeably fatter, gen engravings are extremely sharp in comparison.
• Rep's CG lever has sharper edges and a fatter end.
• I measured the thickness of the CGs, as I thought after holding them that the rep's was thicker. However I can confirm that both have the same thickness.
• Gen CG has a subtle fillet edge near the case, rep does not.
• The hands are similar in size (including width) - the picture I posted yesterday just had a bad reflection.
• The gen's sandwich dial has a greater 3D effect to it (i.e. shadows from the cutouts) whereas the rep has a bit less depth.

The above comments are extremely critical though - overall I am quite impressed by the VSF 1312. The feel of the watch compared to the gen is similarly incredible. Also - the gen's rotor is louder

The most glaring tell on the rep for me is the lume color, though for $350 how can anyone complain about the other very minor faults?

Not sure if I got it right. What do you think is not correct? Just in case, I'll clarify, there are different models for comparison.

Thank you those are amazing comparison shots. Overall VSF did a great job with that model. Who can not be happy with such a close iteration of the 1312 on the wrist?

Great pics, great gen, great rep by VSF (we've come a long way regarding the nice but failed 088 LOL). Definitely one of the best recent PAM reps, and definitely on my list.

The dial markers and lume in the hands of the rep are light green - compared to beige/light orange on the gen.

Gen is pam723, which is essentially pam1312 before "re-styling", in which the beige lume was changed to white-green, and the transparent caseback was changed to solid, and the 723 comes with a bracelet, so a different ref is assigned to it.

Very nice watch, maybe I have to try one. I had a PAM441, but it was a bit too thick for my taste and the "GMT"-Function (or second hour hand) was useless for me, otherwise I liked the 1950 case. This one is about 2mm thinner, which is quite a lot on the wrist. I would prefer one without a date, but I guess I can live with that.

No, there are no rep bracelets. All bracelets in the photo in this thread are gen.
