I asked PT two days ago for this reference, reply was that takes aprox 2 weeks to source the watch.
Thinking to pull the trigger…not convinced yet

Backlog maybe, who knows …
Couple of weeks seems fine from my side.

I don't know if this has already been said, but did anybody notice that the caseback OP code of this is different from the Gen?

VSF is OP 7310

Gen is OP 7393

Curious, but no.

GEN PAM1314 can be either OP7310 or OP7393, piich within one W series.

I confess that I do not know the differences between these cases, but I know that it is common, including with neighboring models PAM1313 and PAM1314, which also started with the OP7310 case, but received OP7393 in subsequent series. The difference is that PAM1312 has a much larger production run, which means that a change has already taken place within the framework of one series.
From what I've seen, OP7393 is not found in the W series before 2000/6500, which is close to the run of models in the same case in this year.

This is great info! It definitely helps clear some things up. I've been searching online to find info on the OP7310 and OP7393 cases to no avail.

Some images of my 1312 VSF. Just for fun.
The watch looks really amazing. I changed the strap to the rubber Panerai strap I ordered from Etsy (for around $50, from Ystrap).

Recently got my 1312 from Hont.
It came broken, watch didnt tick/go. Was easy 30€ repair from local watchsmith, he said there was a loose/faulty screw or something.

Hont did provide me a 30€ discount for next purchase after i requested so.

Qc:

Overall im really satisfied!
Is this exactly VSF?

i have finally receive my 1312 and 1313 (and of course i have immediatly throw away the rep strap on both ... maybe the 1312 are better than the 1313 strap, but both are trash and very rough and tight)

Otherwise these watches are awesome ! like always VSF did a really good job.

So, to be honest now, Repworld has right, but in some "terms". let me explain

the REG. T.M engraving are indeed different between 1313 and 1312

BUT the 1312 engraving are not "badly" done or finished like Repworld suggest, they are just less "deeper" and more thinner than the 1313 , here some pics to highlight clearly the difference :

and i don't know wich engraving are more gen like ? changing the CG is very easy so in my next order i will ask my td to get the correct CG in spare parts :)
I know this an old post, but can you ask for spare parts when you do an order? I wanted to order an additional / spare Panerai rep movement and Rep rubber strap for a project watch. Didn’t know this was a thing. And, do you know if they all do it or is there one in particular that you recommend. Or, like everything else, just keep asking around the the TDs until you get a “yes” …

Yeah, the lume looks pretty green. I noticed that happens when I have been out in the sun for a long time and come inside. Not saying that is the case here, but it is a possibility. Hont has a really good reputation, so I’d hate to think he sent a non VSF and said it was …

***** correction: just read @KOT1917 's post which stated that in ~2020 an update to the GEN (and rep) changed the lume from ecru to white/green and changed open case back to closed. *****

strap can be ordered, but movement isn't available as spare part

Wow. That totally changes the watch. I have a 1312 and was thinking of flipping it because I just don't like the green of the lime and the blue of the second hand (I previously had a 312 and it was too top heavy, but I loved the dial & hands).

With a colored strap -- and maybe having it waterproofed to 15ATM, I could call it my summer colorful watch.

Nice post @Horace_Derwent!
