I've been waiting to buy a VSF PAM1312, however per TD, it has been out of stock. I finally got lucky this weekend and found one M2M.

I can post some pictures of the VSF PAM1312 vs. a gen PAM723 (same watch but with an open caseback and metal bracelet) next weekend..

Thank you, a comparison photo would be very helpful, especially from the point of view, comparisons of the shape of the case, if both are without straps.

I think Repworld already has something to say about CG engraving.

Hah - before going too crazy there it is also worth noting that I scrubbed clean the CG on the 1312 when it arrived today, however the 723 has 4 years of grime on its CG...!

First impression: looks like the gen hands (specially the minute hand) are 'fatter'. The gen inscriptions on the CG look thinner and a bit smaller and from the picture angle the T.M. on the lower part seems better formated. CG lever tip is a lot thicker than gen. CG pin seems polished on the gen but not on the rep. Fonts, numerals and date wheel and window seem ok.

Regarding LUME patina, I think O.PANERAI changed PAM1312 colour to greenish instead of ecru in 2020 series, and added closed caseback instead of display.
I thnk this information was also announced in this forum by KOT1917 . I hope KOT will be able to confirm it

Another thing to bear in mind is the lighting angle, that changes many colours, dimensions and finishes. I'm saying that due to granvino remarks. I think hands are the same and CG pin is the same (we cannot see the rep CG pin finish, but maybe it is polished, maybe tlander13 can conform it). Regarding REG. T.M. engravings, rep REG. is clearly less defined and less sharp, T.M. rep is a bit less sharp but a little taller (just a bit)

CG and lever corners are more rounded in gen, as usually.
Rep crown looks thicker than gen.

The rest, even the crystal, looks fantastic.

CG engraving normal in First batch and not only Pams , maker look very busy, I’m sure there’s comparison 100% in some m.vqq chaneel .

Here we go! Gen PAM723 always on left, and VSF PAM1312 on right throughout. I can confirm via Panerai's website that the new 1312 has slightly green lume vs. the ecru lume of my 723.
