Also mine got in my hands yesterday. I am happy with it. Still need to compare to my best replicas to check how accurate at least the case is. First thing I notices the crown guard shape (sideways) is wrong.
But the object is a beaut. Will post some pictures later or when the weekend hits.

Still love it despite its flaws!

one thing is that I have a 6.5” wrist so I have to buckle it on the last strap hole which leaves a ton of excess strap hanging with the semi fixed strap keeper. I’ll probably have to buy a second strap keeper to hold it down.

Curious which part of the CG is off in your opinion from the side, is it the lever shape?

If you look at the post in this thread on the firs page "Gen vs Rep", you'll notice that when looked sideways the gen CG has a distinct triangle shape on the upper part: fatter on the middle of the CG and thin at the end. Well this part is almost flat on the rep.

However, I have a Gen 024 B-Series (1999/2000). These early version of the 024 have the bezel polished and T-Dial. The „later“ version of the 024 came with brushed bezel and SL dial.

Oh wow, interesting then!

It is like the case back. I was about to "complain" about it only to find out that in fact the T serie case back Is correct as per the Vsf replica. On U series they change it and they fill the big outer space of the bezel with OFFICINE PANERAI inscription that was earlier in the center.


And no, it doesn't bother me at all. It's just fun to find all the small details that are not correct, it's part of the game!

I love mine and I don't care even for the lightly engraved bezel minute markers!


I'll post some pics now, it's weekend and I can take some decent light pictures.

Very comfortable on the wrist and a stunner. Also, lume is like headlights, when you are driving and going throug a tunnel, it is like a lamp is switched on
