It's a VR. The balance, rotor, and even the movement serial numbers are identical to the VR3235.Is the 3230 in this VR or VS orrrr something else?
Also very distinguishing is the tiny pinion for the intermediate winding gear, which is much larger on the VS3235 (and the gen). This VR3230/5 winding gear design is a carryover from the 3135. It's not a bad thing as the 3135 design served well for many years. It's just not as gen-spec for a 3235 as the VS is. There are other 3135 carryovers in the VR3230/5's.

What would be very interesting to know is if the VR3230 has the ghost stem position 2 or did they do it right and eliminate that? Someone who has one already please reply.
