I received today my QCs for the turquoise dial, it seems way too blue but case and bezel look ok, will probably install a buff dial and it should be a nice watch

Thanks for posting and I agree, despite the blue being somewhat off the rest looks great, including the bezel. Even if the bezel isn't perfect it seems very close to gen. I'd argue impossible to tell unless they're side-by-side.

I'm glad the bezel is an improvement compared to GMF fatboy. I havethe King on order also and I will swap in a gen dial. How do the hands look to the experts? 604 crown upgrade needed?

Hands look fine to me, not sure why you'd spend almost as much for a gen crown as you would for this entire watch, nobody would ever notice any difference.

I agree, the silver dial looks amazing. It might be the lighting, but the blue looks way off. Very unlike the promotion photos.

The craftsmanship looks great on the silver as well. I like the gold/silver combo.

Regarding the bezel thickness, I've been wondering about that too when looking at the pictures from the various rep factories and at photos of gens on the net. The gen's bezel, in pictures, sometimes seems fat and sometimes looks thin. I think it has to do with the way the light reflects on the rounded shiny bezel's surface. I took this photo last week at an AD and the bezel looks fat so that King looks ok. What do you think?

I agree it seems to depend on the photo. I have a yellow Incoming. Was worth a look I figured

As someone says, light plays a high role in how you see the OP bezel, this looks right

I have a GMF v1 and EWF. The GMF v1 bezel is indeed fatter. It’s not just trickery of light and eyes. Hard to say about the King without seeing it in person.

regarding the bezel thickness:
I think the edge of the crystal reinforces the impression of a too fat bezel, in combination with the lighting/refelction.
Even the dial color will be different (hopefully better) on the tiffany dial in real life / daylight.
I'm sure the dark blue will also have a sunburst, which can not be seen on the QC-picture.

Yes, I'm starting to get excited about this release, all of the pics above look great (with the exception of the "Tiffany" colour - but although not close to gen, that one still looks good). Hands and bezel look great to me, silver sunburst looks fantastic.

Looking forward to seeing these once on wrists.
