Thanks for great review, the dial spacing does put me off a bit, but I prefer the hands and applied logo, I have a Gen sapphire sandwich... and its a personal fave, its just about right size for me, I would be interested to know if you have any pics of the 39mm against other sizes..

My collection is so big Im seriously considering selling the SS as its worth quite a lot (its like new) and getting this to just to remind me. and have a speedy style watch.. shame they can't get the sub dial spacing correct, but for price I might buy one to check out.

Also like the 57 series, but far far to thick on my wrist.

Thanks, mate. I've got 6 3/4 inch wrists. It is smallish, about the same as my explorer. Slightly smaller than 116610. I can just pull off a 44mm pam. The subdial spacing has grown on me.

and I like the original look, I have a advert I bought from a newspaper on the day of the moon landings, advertising the omega, and it shows this model in the diagram but not the pic. and it has different sub dial spacing...

Crazy shit... but hate to say I sold it framed.... Only wanted it for a photoshoot with my SS... only years later I read the avert proper, but looking at the 39mm reminded me of the design in the advert

Got mine yesterday, and not to impressed with build, the bottom pusher just fell out.. and the steel doesn't feel to good, but still prefer the dial to my gen...

So I got bottom pusher back in and glued it in, I know thats terrible, but I never use the chrono feature, and don't plan to sell on as I want to sell my gen for xmas funds.

Ive put on a nice strap, But Im even more interested in your glass mod now, I just need to find time and rep friendly watch smith in London/UK

my phone has decided to stop autofocusing, so picture not to good... will update with nice ones when fixed
