I sent it off to my guy yesterday. The bloody chrono pusher had come loose again so I'll have to get that fixed too. I'll be sure to post the outcome

I don't think so. It's a functioning chrono, which I use often enough for it to be worthwhile having. There's a little 'e' shaped clip that holds it in place. I think that's what needs repairing

From my understanding, no it wasn't. It just popped out and the gen fit snugly. I've never tested it to see if it's waterproof though

I had the opportunity to try the gen at an airport dealership this week. I must say I prefer yours The flatter sapphire crystal of the gen doesn't do it for me, I think your mod is an inspired move. In general, It may not be accurate, but it's a very nice watch in it's own right. Congrats!
