so My watch does have a little bit of stuttering going on. but I noticed my second hand stops running after I shake my arm not too violently. for instance, clapping with the watch on. Is that normal with the Miyota movement or is it something I need to get it serviced? Please let me know! :D

It's normal. The Miyota doesn't have the same antishock system as ETA's. Just don't shake your arm violently.

Has anyone tried to put a gen 007 spectre (i.e. not the plain Omega one) on a V1, and if so, did it fit ok?!

I found this strap from Phoenix UK which looks pretty good quality on the pics. Anyone have any information on its actual quality, especially compared to gen nato? Worth it or go all the way with gen?

Hello everyone,
apologizes that I have not introduced myself yet but i just want to show you a comparison picture of the straps.
img_1512.jpg

Top to bottom: a cheapo strap from ebay, Phoenix strap from monkey swag, gen omega nato (non spectre)
pic is taken under artificial light.

it have a nice surface feeling but it's thinner and more stiff than the omega.

i also have a gen spectre if someone need any infos about it.

best regards

PS: im sorry if my pic is too big and is not match the forum specifications but i want to give a good impression about the texture and webbing.

Do you have a gen watch as a whole, or just the gen spectre strap? If the strap can you provide the part # we can use to order from a dealer?

Thank you for sharing this. The Phoenix looks good but still different from the gen

^^^^ Super work Nachbar! :) Wish I could buy the 007 nato strap somewhere. If not once I get the watch I'll just go with a normal nato gen Omega

Awesome, thanks. That's a big help. I may have to do an end run on a couple boutiques again and see if giving them the exact number will somehow get them to order one for me. I don't mind waiting or the extra cost, I just feel like I'm admitting defeat by ordering the regular "non-Spectre" strap, and I'm certainly not buying 2 $170 straps.

As a related note, I jumped on eBay to see what gen Spectre straps were selling for, and I can't believe how may people are buying those $100 NATOs with the gen Omega buckle. One seller has sold over 60 of them since October! If anyone following this thread is considering buying one of these, don't. The guy is putting a $40 gen buckle on a $10 strap and laughing all the way to the bank. Probably less since he's getting them wholesale. If you really don't want to spend the extra money on the gen NATO, you're way better off sourcing the buckle yourself from Cousins or Ofrei (or even directly from Omega, the part number is 94512002) and putting it on one of the Phoenix NATOs posted earlier in the thread.
