I'm still not convinved that there is a relevant difference between v1 and v2 for the inner bezel ring. Hopefully someone can post a comparison between the 2 versions. Until then i like the one on my wrist...

Looks as if he strapped a gen onto the rep NATO and sent them as QC pics to you haha. TBH if this is the V2 it looks superb, thinking whether or not to buy the V2 since I already have the original. Sigh, my wallet...

Just received mine. Got the v2 v1.5 or whatever you want to call it. My initial reaction was surprise at how light it is compared to my LMPO. My bezel has a lot of play but nothing drastic. Im happy i have a gen nato to go with this watch. The best explaination I read a while back was the gen feels like a seat belt. The only thing I wish they would change is the movement.

Yeah I'm not sure how they managed to get an LE NATO "new in package." It's definitely restricted. Unless they got it from the AD mounted on the bracelet and with the NATO in the box? Believe me, I tried several times to get my hands on one. My local boutique's manager even called corporate personally for me and was told that if you somehow tear or damage yours, the boutique has to send it to an SGUS service center to have it replaced on a 1:1 basis.

I personally don't mind the polished version though. I'll definitely be picking one up. The v2 is looking great, if we can confirm the brushed bracelet I'll be pulling the trigger on the watch and gen NATO asap.

Thats very strange since omega web offers nato straps under Accesories category? if they dont sell why do they offer them as accesories??? I think there is a nato "non spectre" grey and black and a nato "sprectre" grey and black wich maybe the restricted one? using common sense straps have a "short" lifespan. For the updated bezel's spacing, Kw normally don't make drastical updates in my experience.

I took a similar shot of mine... The lighting and angle playing tricks. The inner silver ring looks the same with mine as you can see below and from the pic quoted above. I don't see any difference. Its still the same bezel.

Factory Kw website says bezel and nato strap updated V 2.0, confirmed also via email but IMO it's the same bezel lol :laugh:.

Check the pictures number's font thickness are different, check 5 and 6, also spacing between numbers and according to the factory bezel thickness itself is also different, check our pictures closely and great job with your pic btw.

I stand corrected. Can't believe I didn't notice the 5 numeral. Looks like they may have indeed fixed the bezel. Need better photos to be sure though. I'll stick with my V1 for now since its still a great looking piece, thin ring or not.

received qc pics last night. They look great but noticing some tiny gaps between the inner bezel ring and the ceramic on the bezel, on both watches.
around the 2 on the bezel, and directly opposite around the 8. Seeing it on both watches in direct close ups of the face. Other pics you don't see it...see if you see what I'm talking about

It's as if they used pliers to insert the ring or something and sort of pinched it a bit to get it in. I am seeing it on other members watches in pics, but not seeing them complain about it.
I haven't raised the issue to the AD yet, not sure whether to or not.

at least it's nice to see the different #'s on the backs. One is 2027/7007 the other is 2046 /7007

This one has the same issue going on between the 8 and 9 on the bezel, and the issue between the 2 and 3 may be there but hidden in shadow...didn't see him complain about it though...maybe being too nitpicky and should just accept it idk

makes me wonder what the quick fix to the inner bezel actually entailed? was it sleeved somehow? I just can't imagine milling a second watch case so quickly, but WTH do I know...I'm now the proud owner of a first gen dinosaur albeit less than 10 days old.
Some days this little hobby is too frustrating for words.

The inner ring still looks thin I think. The gen looks alot thicker. Looks like the only thing different abt the bezel on the latest one is the 5 numeral.

Below is the gen. Thicker inner ring. The V2 still looks more or less thin.

Below is the V1 rep. Compared with the clearer qc pics posted above of the V2, not much change on the inner ring other than the number 5.. Maybe the v2 is just a tad thicker. It is an improvement though.

I don't believe that's the same generation, notice the pictures above on the black background by nicosuave4201 or at the Kuvarsit site... it does appear to be changed, at least at first glimpse.
I could well be overreacting, it wouldn't be the first time, but it does seem to be updated.

FTA: I agree the gen does still in fact have a heavier/wider inner bezel and that makes me feel much more comfortable with my purchase.
So, good for those that waited on a second generation they did get some improvements but I will still enjoy my model.

Owners of V1, thoughts on buying a V2 to replace the former? IMO the changes on the V2 are too subtle to warrant me forking out another $250.

Personally, I'm just replacing the NATO. If they can make changes this quickly (less than 30 days since first release) then I expect something even more refined may come along which might prompt reconsideration. The differences today are minimal, nice but minimal, I will invest in the Gen NATO and wait for another update which is sure to come... JMHO.
