OME Maker 5712 New release

Just curious how much would a gen dial and hands cost? I tried to look but I couldn't find any to get a price estimate. Also what are the options to get a full CNC custom case? Is anyone doing it?

I asked AMOwatch about just getting the custom midcase added to a different 5712 build, and he quoted me a price of $616. So perhaps you can just buy the CNC midcase by itself for that amount. I don't know whether that price comes with a custom bezel, as well, because in the build linked above I believe they just use the PPF bezel, which is probably just fine.

I feel that's a good build on the website but is very part of the case customized CNC? I know the PPF bezel is now actually accurate and is as broad as the gen? I think $4000 is ok for this watch and I HONESTLY do not see any other way around!! I need a top movement with all the decorations and reliability. I need a good dial OME or SW ( I hear the latest SW is almost gen like) and I need 1:1 case... no factory offers that.. PME came in with a bang but now you ask any seller and they all critique it like no tomorrow. I even spoke to the guy who made the video on bilibili showing the two side by side and why OME was the best choice, only to be told on WeChat that he thinks PPF is the best!! I was like WTF??!!

Possible that PPF is paying TDs to hype up their product vs OME. My OME is amazing all things considered.

Yep, I have OME and it's very nice. Got it through popup with pinion mod + SW dial and Tiffany stamp. Then further had the seconds hand made slightly shorter via a local watchmaker.

Right now, there's a gen dial and hand set for a 5711 in the Collectors Corner forum going for 10000 Euro. I'd imagine the 5712 would be north of that.

Does anyone know if the VVS moon phase disc is the same custom made moon disc made by SpongeBob? SpongeBob agreed to do a flat Sapphire glass cover on top of his custom made disc which is made out of copper alloy. He says that gen is made out of copper plate and I am not sure what is the difference?

Also I have asked him to do this on the PPF base but he said he can’t as it needs welding and it may ruin the dial!! Can anyone explain please?

I asked him about his CNC case thickness if close to gen but said it is 8.2 without the crystal so probably with the crystal it might be spot on with the gen.

He migh have thought of replacing the dial feet, but I'm not sure.

That I got a long time ago in green. Works well. Haven't uploaded photos of that because so many other members have photos of it up. Overall I prefer the OME 5712
