I had the same issue and it has been fix by a friend of mine (watchsmith) here in France

Hey let us know how he did it. It's a bit odd when its loose because the rest of the watch is built tough enough to look like it could get run over by a tank and still keep going.

An easy fix for a watchmaker.....A PITA for everybody else!!
Mine is quite snug.....Thankfully!!

rubber strap question?

New here and wanted to say hi to all.

Does anyone know if the rep rubber straps are the same rubber compound as the gens? Are they as supple or more stiff? Just wanted to know if anyone compared the rep straps with the gens to see if there is a noticeable difference.

One other thing, is there a rep in white that has the proper hands which should be polished and not painted white?

As mentioned prior in this long thread:

V 1.5 serial is 82076507
V 2.0 serial is 82058507

Are there any other serials to know about or are all PP made from the same manufacturer, thus having the same laser-etched serials?

You could PAY for one, but you'll most likely get an Asian clone anyhow!!

My usual dealer sells me verified Swiss, if I get it, open it up and it's not Swiss I send it back and get a refund.

That might be the difference between saving a few bucks when you buy a watch.. You wonder why one dealer has it for 100 bucks cheaper for a Swiss eta and then get upset when it's Asian..

Hi, i ruined the hands (and possibly dial) on my v2 fixing the movement recently (fixed the movement though ).

so if any are wishing to part with theirs, drop me a pm. V1 or V2 doesn't matter - damage - doesnt matter (but dial hands should be good). Actually, damage other than this is preferable as i'm tying to get out of it cheaply

especially interested in 2836/a2836 versions.

so i got a V2 swiss with a supamesh but I couldn't live with the grey V2 bezel.....
after checking out a gen at the AD I had to lume the dial and now its spot on.

the white pops!

lowlight lume shot... its super bright in the dark

i couldn't wear it with the grey bezel. now i can't take it off.
i'm loving this watch.

Well he is no longer trusted but I know for a fact that lay can get them he gave an extra clasp to me after I placed another order with him not sure how much it would be just by it self.

Posting this in celebration. After ruining a few dials and handsets it's back on the wrist. It could be the forums' only franken! (nothing to get excited about heheh, gen logo is all):

V2, with some v1 bits. Digging the new orange rubber for now. Mesh tomorrow:

Some interesting news, after palying around, breaking, fixing and comparing four different plops, seems the insert isn't the only thing better on the V1. The hour hand is more accurate and dial printing better/crisper/brighter on v1 than v2...
