I did message him saying if I was to order the GMF then I’d want the correct font for the 126660 and that was the reply I got. That GMF qc pic looks strangely similar to one a member posted a few pages back…

Just got this from trusty re the 126660 available
The GMT escape text looks off
GMF has 116660 insert and OGEV lettering.
BPF Hands are too short, but insert/Text is correct.

Yeah. Imo if you want a black Dial i would try the C+. From the pictures it looks good in total. Also Black Dial is no "Colour Problem". It has a VR3235 and as i read the Case is from ARF...Clasp Code was also used by ARF.
Hi Rob, I’m a bit late to the party to join in. I’m also looking for a 126660 Black.
I note your comments re C+… but I don’t think it has the correct article SEL’s at 22mm. The bracelet looks like the 116660 version.

After diving into 20+ pages (and skimming another 50 or so!) of this incredible thread, I finally pulled the trigger! I just ordered the DSSD 126660 from Steve. Before placing my order, he confirmed, 'We can source the VR3235 movement version for this one from GM (JD) factory.'

The learning process took several months, and it's fascinating to discover the intricate details of this Rolex model and how the different references evolved over the years - both from Rolex and the replica manufacturers. While I can't confirm firsthand whether the GM and JD factories are the same entity, I'm sharing what Steve from The One Watches told me directly in our correspondence. QC is key. You'll know straight away if it's a 126660 or a mix of 11 and 12X parts, which has happened to a few buyers of this reference, and specifically with GMF, but not though Steve AFAIK.
I don't know how you'll confirm the movement. Unless you get a picture with the case back removed, you'll have to trust Steve. Otherwise, you can open it up once you have it in hand.
I've seen GMF and BPF 126660s advertised as having a VR3235, when in actual fact they do not. Example below.

Thanks 72, yeah I understand the article diffs between 11, 12 & 13’s. Re the movement I’m not too precious. I don’t want to mod or franken. Does anyone have any positive comments about the BP 126660 Blue? I was about to pull the trigger on the C+ (since GMF let me down) and then i noticed the K is not aligned with the coronet on the deal on any of the C+ versions.
The only thing holding me back on the BP is feel and weight, curious if it is gen weight with a VR3135?

Not sure if BP is still available...you need to ask a TD. The Dial was very good from BP but the rest a mixe up from 116660 and 126660.
C+ is actually "the best" in general. GMF is also good, But has also it's flaws.
