So i can confirm Clean does not make the 126660.

C+ makes this watch - here some pics, looks good to me.

Probably the best you'll find at the moment. This particular one has a slightly crooked 6 o'clock marker (leans to the right), and all seem to have the misaligned 'K', which means the 'R' and 'M' are obviously off, too. I mean, really, now hard is it to align that text?!

Thanks for the info ,and I guess this is why I was struggling to locate one . Had alit of UK rep sellers tell me they can get one but when I had zero pics I guessed they were struggling .
If you receive pics of what is stated to be a 136660, there is very quick and simple check to tell it apart from the 12. The date window is slightly larger and it sits further to the right.

Other than that, the crystal is slightly more domed and the bezel is a tad thinner.

From the back, the case back is very different -- more titanium and less stainless steel, and different wording on the case back retainer ring.

The 136660 also did away with the fold out diver extension on the bracelet.

Image to show the date window alignments. Taken from another forum.

Yeah, i dont get it why they cant get the HEV text correct. Also the blue to dark fading.
Sometimes it looks like they make those flaws by intention lol.

100%. If everything is correct, no need to buy any more reps. Good business model for them, endless wallet drain for us. But how bored would we all be otherwise.

Recently picked this up M2M. ARF with the 2824 clone. Suits me for ease of repair/replacement. I was really pleased when it turned up and plan on keeping it for at least 6 weeks ;) so sent it off to ado for waterproofing and a service. Don’t often bother these days, particularly water proofing, but kids, pools, sea and baths mean accidents happen!

Anyway, always going to flaws on this I think, the fade, alignment etc. but I have really fallen for this one. Winds like butter, I have taken it swimming regularly and the bezel action is really good, firm click, no back play.

I came across an arf DSSD black version in the watch drawer and it gave me the itch again. I had that one serviced but cracked the insert and never found a good replacement for it - one day!

Well apparently Clean is dropping the new all gold DSSD..... no offical confirmation but let's wait.... i feel suspicous about this release due to the 904 stickers which clean has never used

Small update, this is 100% not from Clean, it's from King Factory or some shit with fake Clean stickers LOL. Do not trust anybody selling this as Clean they're BSing you.

Guys has anyone replaced their own DSSD crystal? Been looking for a tutorial on here but don't seem to be having much joy... is it a similar process to the subs / GMT? (ie pop the bezel off, lift a crystal retaining ring and then pop the crystal and seal out?)

Got a prof 2x on the way

Jep, nothing special for replacing it. Bezel off - sometime the retaining ring comes with it and sometimes the crystal, so you could replace it from above. Othernwise just as usual press the crystal from the inside out.

When putting the Bezel/retaining ring back it can be difficult. Best is to remove the insert and press the retaining ring including Bezel back on until it sits correct and Bezel turns good.
Otherwise its possible the Bezel sits not flush because the retaining ring is not seated correct.

It is different. I have replaced crystals on subs, datejusts and Daytonas and this is tricky relatively speaking. I just had to pull the movement in a new watch due to DOA DSSD. I figured while I had it apart I might as well give the Rehaut a light polish. I wish I had left it alone. It is with a watchmaker now to get the movement replaced and I am going to have him reinstall the works.

As mentioned above, removal is easy but reinstalling was not as simple for me. Ymmv

Thank you. I’m thinking as my DSSD is at least 13 years old… it may be better not messing with the case…

It was recently serviced by Nick (Swiss eta). Perhaps I could source a new watch case and transplant the movement over… the crystal on it currently really isn’t very clear. I’m hoping If I got a new watch/case it would be a simple engine out and in job? Is there a go to factory version for a dssd these days? Sorry I’m so out of date on current DSSD offerings

It is better not to mess around with the DSSD bezel/crystal, it is far more complicated than the other Rollie sport models.

I did ask in the tech section but perhaps I’ll ask here too… .

As the crystal is so thick, I’ll be unable to use a standard set of dies to press down the crystal retaining ring as the standard dies will be too shallow and will foul the crystal.

Can anyone recommend a work around / product / available suitable die set to enable me to do this?

Unfortunately I have no machinery to make my own deeper spacer to give me the depth.

Perhaps one of you kind souls has something in your box that I could possibly borrow? Obvs I’ll cover postage to and back and a few beers 🍻

For what it’s worth, I tried this and couldn’t get it back on seated correctly. I ended up damaging the retaining ring and it had to go to Ado to fix it for me. This probably says more about my skill level than the task, but I made a real mess of it.

Thanks James. I think I’m going to take heed of many similar tales from people and just not take the risk! I’ll likely just pick up a GMF 126660 from Andrew @ trusty. Apparently that’s the only one that’s available that’s any good… I’ve been out of the DSSD game for so long I’ve no idea what’s currently the best.

According to several TDs, GMF with a VR 3235 seems to be the best option for a 126660 currently.
I've heard the same. 3 TD's gave me this option. Has anyone got one and can confirm its any good?

You can just use some kind of plastic ring. You can meassure what you need and cut it from a plastic pipe ore similar.
I get things like this always 3D printet from a local guy for few $

Watch looks good. Every Factory has it pro's and con's its hard to say "thats" actually the best.
Some have a good Dial colour but an ass printing... Great Dial but the blue/black gradient is not as good as on others...some have wrong OGEV text from 116660 and short hands...

I would get one and try if it fits your expectations.

I try to get a C+ Version and make some pics/review for it.

I'm also waiting for the day of "the" Deepsea like we have some spot on pieces like Subs/Daytonas from VSF, CF, BTF ... lets pray someday one Factory gets that beauty right.
