great pictures, what do you use for magnifying whilst assembling?
I have 2 little magnifier lenses on an attachable mount that I affix to a spare pair of glasses. There are different strength lenses available. I use a 3x and a 5x. They can be deployed individually or together. I use all 3 mag levels pretty often, raising and lowering the arms as needed.

@KJ2020 where did you get those attachable lenses? I could really go for a set.

Just recently @Storm. And I were talking about how nice a full black met dial would look! The subdials contrasted with the dial looks amazing, very intrigued to see how the build turns out 👀 what are you using as a base?
It's a late batch Noob Roman numeral Meteorite. I grew to dislike one of the subdials because it was markedly darker in some lighting angles. Ironically, the flip side of that subdial was much brighter and would have been just fine but I couldn't flip it because the subdial numerals were printed right on them.

I was just going to replace the dial with this beautiful ARF that I shaved and epoxied new feet on.

But after fitting the hands and attempting to install the movement I discovered that at least with Noob meteorites, the case interiors have slightly different ridges and seats to accommodate the thicker meteorite dials. The ARF dial wouldn't seat to the bottom of the rehaut after it was mounted on the movement. D'oh.

This issue could have been remedied with some thin spacers (even dial dots) but it got me thinking about a mod since I had some subdial rings from a DIW dial I knew I would never use. So the saga began. The dial mod was a lot more work than I anticipated but as every step completed acceptably well I grew more convinced it might leave me with something I didn't dislike. I'll post a lot more pics in a separate thread - it was really an interesting journey.

Hi Guys, Below is my new Tungsten WG Platona Daytona with moissanite baguettes from xing.david along with 2 Daytonas (in s/s) I brought from intime over the years.
1. The new one weighs 224 grams and "in the hand" you can tell the weight difference but on it's own i.e. not having a watch in each hand it is VERY hard to tell.
2. pushers on the new one are stiff compared to my older ones.
3. I'm guessing my 2 older watches cost about $US800 each whereas the new one was $US2805 AND I had to wait about 3 months for it to me made.
4. Whether it's a good copy or not I'M ASKING YOU GUYS TO COMMENT??
5. For me, for about 3 times the price of a s/s one, I don't know, yes it's heavier, yes the links feel a little "chunkier", DEFINITELY the dial with the Moissanites looks WAY better, so if you are like me, and trying to get it as close as possible, THEN YES I WOULD GET IT. A Gen is about $US140,000 and this one is definitely good enough - I'd rather have the extra money in the bank!
6. Sorry about the photos, I tried my best.
7. As for Xing.david he was good (but like all of them is slow - I mean this is NOT Amazon you are dealing with so keep that in mind!)

So guys, I would REALLY appreciate your comments on the watch - but not on my photographic ability!!
