I have my favourite watch of all time the Air King and wanted a Submariner to rotate so instead of getting a genuine Sub 16610 I got a WM9 V2 with a gen bezel insert and what looks like a replacement crystal and I am so impressed with it I can't see any point in getting a genuine Sub

Consult ALE's guide, there are 2-3 of them IIRC. The 292 Non PIG, a Ti model, and perhaps a few others?

Jeeeez, heavily considering one of those Zenith. But 40mm is too small for a Flieger for me (I had a Stowa 40mm and it looked comical on my arms).

Thanks for the pointers. I did have a look through the guide but it seemed like there were some missing, I could not find the new 288 with clone movement for example.

That one was the v1 V6F version. I'm pretty sure there are newer versions of the model these days that are probably more accurate, but I'm afraid I haven't kept up on that.

Seconded. With gen straps (ridiculously expensive, but makes a huge difference) The One reps are virtually indistinguishable from their gen alter egos.

Why not the Black Bay Black & Blue on the list?

+1. confused as to why the only black bay mentioned is the red shield version? The black bay blue shield logo should be on here too. Regarding the black shield, some say black has incorrect shade of red for the triangle but I'm not aware of any side by side comparisons of the black version yet.
