Within the pages of this thread are some lists of Rep watches considered by many members to be so good as to be NWBIG.

You are right, but I remember watching some videos posted by members some months ago, that showed a really smooth sweep without any stutter.
So in my eyes only the crown (which could be polished quite easily by oneself) and maybe the slightly dark bezel numbers are left as little flaws.
Maybe I will have another look at it tomorrow though.
I think the PAM comunity here is more "transparent" than some others brands. If you ask about super-reps, they will just answer you. This is why everybody knows exactly wich PAMs are super reps.
There are some other brands wich is almost offensive if you ask about super-reps...they come with that "do your own research" talking...or "the super rep is what you think it is a super-rep"...or even "Let´s discuss what really means the word super-rep?"... So, its way more difficult to gather the scattered information, and know wich reps are super reps.
I think I have to withdraw my statement after doing my homework. It's a pretty good rep

This is the watch. However no longer mine . For the first time in years my wife actually noticed I was wearing a watch she hadn't seen before, loved it and I was so taken aback I gave it to her!

Yes 41mm. My wrist is 8 1/2 inches
This is an excellent thread. I have owned a number of gen Panerai, Rolex and other brands over the years and quite simply put watches with time only and time/date functions are now not worth buying the gen.
I have recently purchased a used JLC Master Compressor Memovox Gen. This watch has the usual immaculate JLC fit and finish and has a mechanical alarm function which I find quite charming. Its unlikely ever to be rep'd due to the unique movement.
Rolex on the other hand make good quality, simple watches (with a few exceptions) that can and will rep'd. However lets not forget the great Swiss watch deception. Many parts of so called Swiss watches have been made in China for years, including the ETA type movements. The Swiss law allows Swiss Made on this dial when most of the components come from China. Over the years the Chinese have become better and better at making watches and now they can rep a steel sports Rolex almost as good as the real thing. Rolex are charging silly money for the Ceramic Sub for example, however this will never change while many Rolex wearers just want the name on their wrist.

This one isn't on the last version of the list as far as I can see, but I just received it and I think it could be: Oyster Perpetual 39mm 114300 JF Gray
On the list are a lot of Omega seamasters. Need to identify which factory perhaps? I was searching through other threads and most seem to say for this watch it's the Noob factory. However, some of these threads are dated and lordy, lots of factories producing this one, V6F, om, Noob, JHF, BP,.... I'm inclined to just use the price differences, higher price equals better, but that is not always the case. Any thoughts from the Omega crowd? I don't have one yet, but the 45mm in RG, I keep staring at. :essen:

SMP 300 has insert issues for sure...and the bracelet is also pretty bad TBH...they have a lot of work to do here before it's considered a super rep IMHO.
