I would say dont worry about the patina, most people dont wear their reps as often as if they only had the gen as you rotate through watches. I think as with the rose gold watches if you wipe off your watch with a cloth after wearing would help with the longevity (by removing any oils on the watch from your wrist).

I have this one as well, I would agree, this is one where if you can find one of the original noob models, you don't need to buy the gen. I originally bought mine because I wanted the gen, and wanted to try it out. The rep is so good, I decided not to go forward on the gen purchase. Then I bought a gen bracelet for it, and ended up returning that also as it was not that much better for almost double what I paid for the watch...

Just found this thread and I must say it's quite interesting indeed.

It would be good to see an updated list, actually. Is there any? (I confess I skipped all the pages from 7 onwards...). EDIT: Found the list, big thanks!

All reps are thicker than gen, which is 8.5mm, and it has a display caseback. Hopefully the new v6f with 3.3mm movement will get the right case thickness and right tone of blue. If they have room for movement decorations and nail all of the above it could be an amazing rep and possibly not worth buying in gen, especially as its $30k.

Not sure if this has been added but I think the new JF oyster in grape and grey should be added to this list. Incredibly well done IMHO.
