IWC Straps from timepiecerepublic?

Hi All,

Currently still searching for a strap for my incoming BP 5004 from Ryan.

Was doing some searching and found these guys on eBay out in CA. Quick search on the forum turns up some hits, but wanted to see if anyone has had experience with these guys and their straps. These are the two that I'm considering:

Thoughts from anyone? They have pretty damn good feedback. I am leaning towards the $65 version but not sure if this is any better than the rep crap strap.

Gator "grained" leather, looks very cheap IMHO

Genuine Alligator Skin Leather, looks better (a little), but still looks cheap to me. $245 is a ridiculous price for this strap again, IMHO.

I understand the ones you refered to may be YOUR style, but for the price, quality and look, just throwing some other ideas out there. For $250, you could have a bunch of reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelly nice straps to change into depending on your mood.

The $65 Strap is not much better than the Rep Strap....
I purchased a BP 5002 Strap from Mario (Orloff). Really nice and cost about $100 USD
ALso, check out HK Tan, as he has an amazing Buffalo IWC BP Strap for $135...(great value for the money)
You could also buy a Buffalo looking leather from Bob Straps for $30, and it looks good but still near Rep Quality...

My next Strap fro my 5002 will be the HK Tan. Thats just my $.02
