SEL seems the same, this is the new batch that TD received just now.. as I said will change almost everything so now waiting to see the SEL pics and decide..

everthings ok. its the actual v9 batch(nearly flush SELs), but as u saw already there is little lume out of place.
wear it for some days/weeks and check it out. if it bothers you have it done by a watchmaker or DIY.
but: this flaw is very very tiny, maybe hard DIY?! u need a big magnifier and a steady hand.
and if DIY -> do your reading good before(especially how to get the stem out without fu..ing up the keyless).

I rejected it even he is being a bit upset saying that all V9s are like this (indeed they are!!).. anyway he got my cash so he shouldn’t be worried, he said he got 5 pieces this time.. let’s see!!!sorry mate, SELs not good enough for ur project on the whole batch. better wait 4 next batch.

Just to clarify the rehaut alignment issue a lot of people are complaining about. Here is a gen 114060 posted on the rolex forums and you can clearly see that rolex doesn't even care about getting these perfect. Not a big deal on a rep, but I agree if I paid 8 grand for a watch it would be a little frustrating to hear "that's not something Rolex cares about".

) and it looks to be from the same batch as mine(waiting for it by the letter box atm). Haven't got in my hand to check the SEL but I'll take a chance and say that almost flush SEL V9 is from Ryan's current batch and Ken still got better SEL placement V9s
its just my opinion. I don't even speak about the "typical" Rolex Submariner buying guy
its rolex what do you expect? Almost every new Gen i saw had flaws they even just "print" the dial and not use the cool "3D" look anymore (where the print is raised on the dial which looks then like a 3D effect) how much does this cost in production? 3 cents? Rolex dont care because a lot of brainwashed idiots buy the watches anyway hell i even now respect Hublot more than Rolex and Hublot is pumping out watches like shit
Don't get me wrong i like the Submariner design BUT i would NEVER buy a Gen from Rolex because they cut down the Submariner costs so hard to maximize the profit its just ridiclious.
And i don't care if the Rolex fans are now jumping on me
