Hi mate, having hard time picturing the "milled out part of the case". Could you elaborate a bit more on exactly where to put the spacer?

He means the step part .look at the inside lug wall,at the bottom there is a step.that's were you place the spacer or tape or whatever you choose

I also have a picture showing this part. It's the one with the red writing on it.

Op you used the identical method me and dirk came up with back when the v7 was released. Are you sure you haven't spoke to him and he told you how to do it.because I never told you lol,or perhaps great minds think alike ha haha
Oh yeah nice explanation of the plastic mod, I didn't have time to take pics and do a write up on it,so cool buddy

i pushed plastic toothpicks together with the 1,8mm springbar in the SEL-springbar-hole from both sides.
putting the toothpick down and towards the watchcase to have the smaller springbar positioned as needed. broke the toothpicks after they come tight.
now i still have a little play, but this time due to the holes in the lug that are too big now. will try to fix that with tape some day. but for now im very satisfied with the result. will see how long it will last.
had broke my arm, so not really able to fiddle around anymore at the moment.

heres a pic:

Wow. Yours is even nicer!

I've also tried that with a wood toothpick but it was visible on the back side of the lug.

If you also put a plastic spacer on the inside of the SEL there should be no more play.

Ahh I see, when I read your OP last night it still wasn't there. Amazingly simply and effective mod, and saves me a hunt for the impossible v6s bracelet! Thanks!

I got a v6s bracelet waiting to pop on the v7, I'll try these mods (if even necessary) and post pics.
