gnoelkered- Don't let it get you down! Flaws are the nature of reps, and the various versions that come with each model. It's the price you pay for adapting early, and in some cases, no sense in holding out for the latest as subsequent models might take a step backwards in detail, quality, etc. Just enjoy your v2.2; it's a good one, especially when comparing to what we had available to us 10 years ago!

Got my V3 today and it’s by far and away the best finished rep in a long time!
Perfect sels(rep grade) and the insert does not need a clean upgrade. Crystal and height perfect too.
Very impressed. All I’ve done is oil the bracelet and polish the pushers and crown for that gen like sparkle. Thanks to grizzlybear for qc’ing a great example!

Got mine V3 today too, according to me really better SEL, ceramics bezel really close gen is, and even case is looking more finished, will probably made a servicing swap hands/crown/pushers by gen and improved movement with gen movement parts, but watch is really good overall looking, no need to swap crystal and it’s gasket by gen, band and clasp really good too.

I just remove the bracelet and soak it in penetrating oil like WD40 or similar for a few hours so it gets into the links. I then wash it and ultrasonic clean then good to go and less rattles.
I usually use olive oil. smells good and lubricates great
the advantage of olive oil is that there should be no exema. I can't very much imagine how I put on my wrist something greased with wd40 ...

I also have a two tone rose gold GMTii (rootbeer). Can I do the same oil / wd40 bath and ultrasonic clean on that bracelet as well? I dont want to ruin the rose gold plating...
