...so you are saying that the ARF case is better than the Noob one?

Wow... Noob v3 SELs are a big improvement! That fit is a huge step forward!

I like black better on both :)

I agree brother, I also prefer the black dial.

However the panda is a little more "gen like".

The black dial's subdial thickness is still a little too thick, and the finish itself is still too shiny.

I've hold several Gen black dial's in my hand, and the subdials have a much more "matte" finish. It is actually really perceivable in real life. They really don't shine or mirror light as the current black dial Noobs/ARFs or the Gen 116520s.

By the way, great insight regarding the case, lugs, SELs my friend!

There has to be a way to make the chrono rings less shiny. Maybe some oxidation. I will try a couple of methods.

Nope... already discussed this about 10 pages ago.

Maybe it's my eyes but the one on the right looks like it has fractionally thinner sub dials and they appear more visually accurate when looking at the dial as a whole. If you look closely at the red line running on the inside of the far right subdial at the bottom, there is a fraction more black visible from the inner black circle.

Maybe it's my eyes, maybe it's just the lighting or maybe it's the resolution of the images. I know a V3 is a V3 regardless or who is selling it but it seems InTime's images are a little deceiving!

I have followed this thread since the start and haven't seen any black dial QC pics. Did I somehow miss them?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. I'm a long time lurker and thought I'd join properly.

This piece looks great. What is the time keeping like? Is it as good as the gen, 1-3 seconds a day?

Can someone help me with aligning a bezel on my second watch? Do I need a bezel removal tool or is there a "hack" I can use?

This Panda is owned by one guy who claims it's a GEN. Can somebody from more experienced members confirm 100% it is?!

Follow my tutorial.

Thanks, great tutorial! After reading it and your advice at the end, I determined that I'm not patient enough to do it, so I'll find someone who can. Haha :)
