I ordered mine last week, and gave my green light yesterday.
I don't have fat or too thin sundials, according to me they are perfect.
so I think you just need to be lucky for the moment :p

Ultra thin.
I will soon be selling some Noob dials for those who want ...

I just ordered a Noob Daytona V3 and my TD said the black dial doesn‘t have the problem with too thin zenith circles like the white one.
I need the watch to mod it with my ARF V2 panda.
It is really beginning to disappoint me that the ARF V2 is almost 1mm thicker than gen case and I feel it on the wrist. Also the ARF V2 movement/ rotor is really annoying and I can‘t stand it anymore.

I hope that Noob maybe upgraded the lugs shape. They are too round imo, but ARF ones are the same. Anybody knows something about this? Somebody wrote about a „post-covid version Noob V3“.

Just got mine for Josh, man I'm in love. Been wanting a Daytona for years now, held off because I'm not a fan of the 7750s or frozen subdials. This is a game changer, looks and feels great out of the box!

Have to give props to Josh for being able to source this one out of all the thin subdials noob is now producing...

I have an idea for a project... Which white dial has the thinnest subdials? ARF V1, latest Noob V3 or latest ARF V2?

Looks huge! Wear in good health. And I can definitely compare to you. The Daytona was a grail to me for long time. I got the small Subdials though, but I fetched an ARF Dial, so now I can mod em together. :)

Guys, quick question, will the ARF bracelet will fix the small SEL gap? or another bracelete as jubilee? or it is about case quality itself?

I don't think they're round enough.

Daytona doesn't have the sharp lines you see on subs and gmts, the lug is straight face on, but the sides have a beautiful curvature that the noob can't replicate. I have some pics somewhere against the gen. I reshaped my v1 completely to look like an early 116523, it took days to get the excess steel off by hand but the shape was perfect

I own an ARF V1, I made some Photoshop to check subdial rings with latest Noob, and they appear to be the same size, but with different printing.
As I'm planning for a modern 16520, can someone point me where to find new graphic steel beze, short pushers and slim back case? Thanks!

In case this still interests some one here.
I got a Daytona shipped by puretime with loose endlinks and a gap between the bracelet and the watchcase. (What I’ve highlighted to TD when I got the QC pics, they sent new pics in a different angle).
So I was going back and forth with puretime. They now try to tell me this is „normal“ and they have sold many watches like this already.
I must say, i see this as a hobby and love when people mod their watches to awesomeness. Though, 750$ for a watch with loose endlinks? None of the watches in this thread has loose endlinks.
I am feeling scammed big time by puretime. This is crazy!

Hey buddy,

first of all, I do realize, that this issue was discussed some 3 weeks ago. Sorry to bring this back up, but I didn't see any msg, that the problem was resolved already.

Other than that, I'd just like to share my experience with a gen vintage 2005 Ex2 16570:
During an intercontinental trip to HK, I noticed the gap between the case and the sel, to appear a lot bigger, than it used to be. Still seemed firm and since the watch is like 15 yrs old, I didn't worry too much for the time being. Once I got home, I had a closer to the watch and removed the band. I've found one of the springbars to be cracked, which obviously resulted in the sel to wiggle around.

One member had mentioned, that the springbar looked odd, I could imagine, that his causes the issue with your watch. I'd definitely recommend to install a fresh springbar and see, if it helps to solve the issue. Easy fix; if not, basically no money wasted.

Cheers,
j

Been struggling deciding whether to accept the white v3 with slim sub dials. You all think they will go back too normal soon or be skinny for a while?

your guess is as good as ours... :| I think the fat subdials are more acceptable than thin subdials though, so if you rather that, maybe you wanna try check with your TD if he can still get hold of any fat subdial version for you.

I think I'm just gonna go for it before they change something with the case or bezel and really screw it up. The black dial one I have now is really amazing and is running perfect.

NEED MORE DAYTONA. LOL.

Can anyone who has the latest batch ARF V2 please confirm that ARF has indeed fixed the short pushers issue that they had in their early release V2s?
