NOOB V3 116500LN announced! Whats new?

I ordered a black Noob V3 116500 to mod it together with my ARF V2 panda. QC pics are already accepted!

I chose the donor watch to be a black dial Noob V3 instead a panda V3 as I know the Noob V3 panda dial sucks with it‘s zenith style sub dials so I prefer to sell the donor watch after finishing the mod with a good looking black dial lol :D

I am not sure about the bracelet/clasp thing yet. I will try which SELs fit the Noob V3 case better. For the clasp I am not sure because the new Noob Clasp indeed looks very good as some members already mentioned that there is a post-COVID version Noob V3 with better clasp and I think my ordered Noob V3 has this good clasp. But my ARF V2 clasp looks really good so I will have to decide when the package arrives...

Are you sure that's a Noob V3?

The letter "O" in ROLEX is a weird shape now. If so I guess with all the complaints about the donut "O" they decide to make it wider. Just like how all the complaints about fat sub dials, they made it super skinny. At least they're listening LOL

I don’t know.. I was under direct light.. however I’m going to install a gen dial so it’s not a problem..

The 9 hour marker looks crooked and also the sub dials are looking way to thin, or.. ?

What should I do, reject it and ask the TD to find one with thicker subdials? Or directly ask for a black dial watch?

How much did the gen dial cost you? I’ve see some going for $500 USD then some at $1500USD, so trying to find a more accurate price.

Also if you plan to sell the noob dial, pm me, I may be interested. The sub dial size looks good and that seems to be the biggest flaw at the moment

Gen luminova dials cost +/- 1000€
Gen chromalight dials cost more than 1500€

If I were you, would have changed my order to Black Noob V3 as the dial is still very good and also best 116500 Dials Noob have produced.
As these Zenith subdials would simply bother me to death...lol

I find it crazy that there was such a big downgrade in the dial after getting the subdials right in the v2.2. Usually downgrades in future versions of reps are smaller, nit-picky things but the stuff Noob has done to the subdials is a much bigger deal to me. The fat subdials on the v3 had me on the fence about purchasing, but these new super-thin Zenith subdials make it un-purchasable in my eyes, unless you want to go through the trouble of replacing the dial with an ARF (which most people generally don't want to have to do).

I cannot agree more with this, it’s a huge flaw and instant tell even to the untrained eye. They made a huge step forward with the second or 2.2 version and then are literally back to square one with the issues they created with the tiny sub dials.

The trouble + cost to mod the noob with an Arf has me considering just getting the gen black dial even though I prefer the panda.

Really hope they fix this soon, I can imagine sales have dropped due to this
