I don't think Li installed the Clean bezel.

Looking at your watch, I see that you got the new slim sub dial iteration (which isn't accurate) - the watch overall is great. The dial text is crisp and the "daytona" color is good.

Wow. The difference between the two bezels is negligible to be fair. You can see why Ernesteka might be confused.

Hello guys!

I am new to this forum and especially to this hobby. So maybe one of you can help me with my Noob-Question:

Yesterday my Noob V.3 Daytona I ordered from Jtimes own Li arrived in the mail and I am very happy with the watch. :)
I also ordered the Clean Factory Bezel Insert and asked Li to attach it for me on the watch, but also send the Noob-Bezel to me as well, so I can compare the two. But due to my untrained eye I can't see any difference, even under slight magnification. So I don't know if the Clean Factory Bezel Insert is installed. The "lose" Insert even has a "clean" engraving on the back.

Maybe you can help me answer this question and even tell me how to spot the difference.

Here are som pics. On the second one I just "laid" the lose Insert on the watch.

Hope you guys can help me! If you need more pics, Ill do my best. Thank you in advance.

Best regards!

The CF bezel is in your hand....

The difference is not so apparent in pictures, but in hand they look very different. If you’re no longer planning to install it, I will happily buy it from you in a m2m sale. I need one for a build.

Is there a way to buy a modded one from a TD? a noob v3 base with ARF v3 bracelet and dial and CF bezel? Or will he just ship you the separated parts?

I don't know of any TD here will do a modification on a watch of your purchase, to replace a bezel for you is consider great length for their service even for a fee.

No TD will want to do this. ARF dial shaving needs a watchmaker lathe and skills. Almost TDs will install CF bezel but I don’t recommend that. Get all the parts (and both the Noob + ARF watches) and send it to a watchmaker for the build and movement service. If you are in CONUS, send it tomisiekped . He is the one of most skilled Daytona watchmaker.

Thank you for your Feedback. Guess I will wear the watch as it is for a while and then search for a proper watchsmith in my hometown.

red1 did a guide a while back on how to switch it yourself. I among other used this guide, and it was a piece of cake to do it, 10 minuttes work.

Quick question guys, I need help.

Given the great weather we are having here in the UK, I decided to really test out the lumes on my V3 Noob 116500LN.

I sat in the sun for an hour with my watch face pointing directly at the sun and I went inside just to get some water, within 2-3 mins the lumes are almost non existent. Another member on another post mentioned to check in an entirely dark room but even after having it charged up for so long, 2 hours later the lumes are no longer glowing.

I am seeing on some forums that rolexs Chromalight lumes last up to 8 hours, from just using a flashlight charging the lumes for 10-12 seconds. Noob claimed that their lumes are as bright, if not brighter and longer lasting than Rolex official lumes.

Anybody else tried this out?

I own one Noob rep, the Sea-Dweller DSDB v10 and I can verify that after some 10-20s flashlight treatment (a very bright LED one) the lumes glow whole night, my typical sleeping time is 7 - 8 hours. Of course the brightness is weak in the morning then but the glow is still there and I can well tell the time though. As well some of my cheapo Dhgate reps lumes glow for some hours. I think there's something wrong with your Noob rep.

Hahaha...no bro. I ordered 2 more V3 for 2 build franken.
I just finished buying all the gen parts to make 2 116520 black and white. The 2 116500 are impossible to make Franken so I mixed the best parts of the rep Noob Arf CF bezel. APH white and black, both Chromalight are ready:)))
