don’t worry, if it does come out and they change something for the better they will make sure there’s a flaw somewhere; they’re not in the business of making perfect reps. If you want the best possible you will always need to mod.

Exactly, or buy both noob and arf to mix them... clever these chinese

Hi guys,

Let's say you're looking to franken a NOOB Daytona 4130 with genuine 116520 dial, hand set and crystal.

What model would you buy?

I'm asking because Noob 116520 line has not been updated beyond V1.

Is there any relevant improvement other than dial and bezel in Noob V3 that should make it the best base for a franken right now?

On the ARF v2 updated thicker dial, does the lines I circled in green on the 3 o'clock sub dial bother anyone? Those lines supposed to extend closer to the outside perimeter but it's all the same level as the the others lines.

Not for me. But I'm not the one should answer.

Is it your QC photos? that's for you yourself to decide and answer.
If you truly bother by it don't buy this watch. And this is not a QC issue, that's how the factory make(rep) the watch. It will exist even if you ask for another, as long it's from same factory.

Question: have you seen one of this or similar watch in person, as in real life? Maybe that will help to answer your question...

Cheers

Just so you know, the side profile for the steel vs WG (which is what that silver dial goes with) are very different. Insta-tell. Not knocking your watch, but just for awareness.

Pardon my question if this is already answered stated somewhere else in the forum, I wasn’t able to find it. What are the major differences in the side profile between the WG and SS Daytona?

Note the side profile, as well the slight tint on white gold

Dear ChriBe, have a look at Rubbermans post, you can see clearly, that the end of the lugs have a different shape.

How on earth will you ever notice this on wrist?Anyways, Just got my QC, only the top right markers is a bit short. My other 2 does extend all the way to perimeter.
