Do all the noob v3 panda daytonas have fat subdials like the one i ordered? A working chronograph was a must which is why I went with noob. Arf seems to have a more accurate watch face but the frozen subdials were a big no for me. Sorry for being picky but the fat subdials is a big problem for a $700 watch.

That ‘piece of metal’ is a bent springbar that hasn’t been installed correctly. You should ask Li to change the springbar for you. If you’ve already accepted it then just go online and order some springbars and a springbar tool. It will only cost a couple of bucks and is a quick easy job. The watch isn’t safe to wear as it is, that bracelet could pop off at any stage and send the watch falling to scratch city.

Curious, what was the feature made you suggest that it’s a bent spring bar?

From what I can tell, it looks like a piece metal shaving leftover from the machining of the SEL lug groove. I’ve actually received one like that. Of course, I may be wrong in this case.

The frame from the R serif is the old v2 ... While the dial from the counters seems to me v3

Sigh.... This really sucks, I've been trying to find a 116500 black dial with the thin subdials from puretime and asked them specifically for them. Just got QC pics today and whaddyaknow... thick subdials... I'm starting to believe the thick subdials aren't old dials from v1-v2, I believe the thick subdials are the new "updated" dial for v3 and the rare thin ones are actually the leftover dials from v2.2 noob has been using... so basically thin is the rarity here.... good job noob... one step forward and two steps back once again!

Just zooming in it looks to me exactly like the end of a springbar bent upwards towards the viewer, and there’s no springbar under it where one should be. I’ve seen incorrectly installed, bent ends of springbars that looked just like it in the past. But I could be wrong too.

Please I need 2 tips from the more experienced:

1. I received my Noob V3 and in my opinion it is a new dial, subdials are not as fat as V1-V2 and they are not as thin as V2.2. In addition, the wording "Daytona" is no too much orange like previous versions (it is a bit far from the counter compared to the gen but I have seen original Daytona with different heights of the writing).
What do you think about it?

2. I also ordered a CF ring and ARF dial but given the comparison of the Noob with the gen I don't know if it is appropriate to replace the Noob dial with the ARF one, among other things the ARF dial seems to have the thinnest counters of the gen. For me the proportions of the dial are fundamental. Would you recommend installing the ARF dial or not?

Some comparative photos to better understand...

To me looks really good. I would not replace anything.Maybe the bezel, but even that makes no sense.

Hi Marco1937

Same here, actually quite satisfy by the Noob 116500 white dial after all even though ARF print is more crisp and "daytona" properly red.

Noob 116519 dial and ARF 116500 dial next to my noob V3 with proper sub counter:

but I'm considering using the noob 116519's dial to get to that look:
