I didn`t say i can`t tell the difference, i said i`m not sure, that`s not the same. And my question was not only about the dial, but also about the second hand. I think i was right in the forum rules...! But it`s ok, i understand your point, have a nice day!

Hi everyone and happy holidays,

I am new to this forum and to replica watches. I’ve read through most of this forum and the trusted dealers. I recently purchased a Noob V3 Daytona from Jtime and so far the process has been super smooth and easy. I just received the QC pics. Can someone direct me to where I can post QC pictures to get some second opinions? I don’t want to get in trouble and I know this isn’t a QC checking service, which is why I didn’t post the pictures here. I just want to be confident in the purchase and not regret buying a watch with a major flaw.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum. You are only allowed to post QC pics if you have a specific concern. Posting pics with the question “is anything wrong?” are not allowed.

Thank you for your prompt response.
When looking at the bracelet from underneath, it seems that there is a piece of metal sticking out from the bottom right springbar.
Also, in some pictures I feel that the subdials are too thick while in others they seem almost correct.
The SEL and rehault seem great. And the watch is +3s/d.
I also paid for the CF bezel, but I’m assuming they’ll put it on the watch after I accept the QC.

My brother has wanted a replica of this watch for a while, and I’m surprising him with it. I’m very pleased with the TD and watch.

You are right, but i have to say something. If the person already approved the QC picture i don't see any issue. At least we can track what the factories are doing now. If the older dials are already sold out, what kind of bezel they used. So having a pictures is like tracking the updates. Since the guy already approved the watch...for me is not an issue.

Looks great to me, the dials are ok. About the piece of metal, yeah...maybe it is something, but i guess you can just remove it easily.

It is some leftover metal shaving from the manufacturing process, and can be easily removed with a toothpick or something sharp when you get it. I've got the same thing on a NOOB bracelet before too.

I got myself an ARF band for the NOOB - here is the result with everest's springbars and without any modifications :

Thanks for quoting the post with all the QC pics in it, because as I said just a few hours ago, it's not like there is too much QC pics in this thread already ...

I don't think you, or most people who post their QC pics, understand the purpose of these pics. They are not meant to nit pick because the shade of red is too light. And the thickness of the subdials is not a flaw, it is a batch variation, so that's not a reason to reject a watch. Is the watch on the pics a noob with white dial? Does it have crooked markers, a big stain on the dial or something that makes it a reject? If the answer to these questions is respectively yes and no, then you have to accept the watch, that's it... Have you noticed that all QC pics posted for "double check" are all posted by junior members? Senior members dont post QC pics not just because they can analyze the pics better, but because they understand what they are meant for

Hi Tobel, i think the forum gives you the opportunity to talk about watches and if the qc pictures are approved no one breaks the rules. And please keep in mind that these pictures give you the chance to follow the updates of the different batches. So for me personally...more pictures means more discussion

You are right, it is allowed. But when a thread becomes exclusively QC pics it just loses its value. Now with this said, when you quote a post of QC pics, it is good practice to remove the images that you are quoting. While the value of QC pics is debatable, the value of having twice the same QC pics is absolutely none. Cheers and merry Christmas nonetheless :)

That`s your opinion, mine is another one. To ask questions about the dial, the red and so on for this is a forum. Also the rules of the forum say, that it is allowed to ask questions for QC Pics if it is a specified question. And i think it is normal that a junior member ask such questions more often than a senior member, otherwise something would be wrong, that`s why it is a junior member. And i agree with slashdotcom: more pictures keep the discussion alive.
Also a know it all better mentality can destroy a thread.
So long, merry christmas!

I’m on the side of leave your qc pics at home. Post your photos of your watch in hand when it arrives.

However when someone has a specific problem I don’t think we should mislead them.

scarfacerolex That ‘piece of metal’ is a bent springbar that hasn’t been installed correctly. You should ask Li to change the springbar for you. If you’ve already accepted it then just go online and order some springbars and a springbar tool. It will only cost a couple of bucks and is a quick easy job. The watch isn’t safe to wear as it is, that bracelet could pop off at any stage and send the watch falling to scratch city.

The only reason you think it's a question of opinion, is because you haven't done your homework, and as I said, that you don't understand the purpose of QC pics. So let me help you here, please read this:

https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/replica-faq/136582-a-little-on-qc-pics

It's not a know it all mentality, it's a learn it all: read, educate yourself, leverage the existing content understand the game, and how the forum works, instead of just showing up and asking questions around without doing your homework. That kind of behaviour is what really destroys threads.

cheers

Thank you for your responses.

Hopefully my QC pictures of the broken springbar will help someone else on the forum watch out for them.
I’m happy that everything else, including the subdials are correct. For me the subdial size is very important because the watch face is so small.
