I received my noob 116500 v3 white dial this Monday. I was lucky enough to try the real deal today and apart from the obvious better band, NOOB did an awesome job!

The NOOB I got is near perfect as the dial and SELs are on point!

However, I'm discovering too late that I'm more of a 116520 white dial guy.

What would make more sense since mine has perfect SEL and good band:
- Keep it and buy the 116520's dial and bezel?
- Or sale it?

Actually thinking of it, I’d buy 116520 ARF and use Arf bracelet (not end links, use noob endlinks), arf dial and bezel and sell the arf with the noob parts

they need sanded down , too wide. Well documented on here mate.

I know that its too big and needs to be shaved, but why wouldnt jcher just shave it or get it shaved down? Why would that keep him from buying an ARF 116520 and do exactly what I suggested?

Nothing , nobody said mod the dial to fit. I was simply letting know that it wasnt a straight swap

I had a v2.2, which was awesome, but ended up parting ways with it and got a v3 after realizing how much I missed it. Sub dials are a tad bit thicker, yes; but they still look great! SELs are much improved on the one I received and after fitting my CF bezel (and 1.2mm gasket), I'm calling it good.

I've built some vintage Pateks, Vacheron and Rolex in my time, and I have to say that it's kind of nice to be able to buy a watch and not have an immediate desire or need to franken-build right out of the gate. It's pretty dang good as-is! And an enjoyable daily wearer!

Just sharing my Noob Daytona V3 with full movement overhaul and ARF dial.

V3 Bezel is good enough for now, shall see if it fades over time and might consider swapping for CF bezel if it does fades.

Many thanks to legend for the great mods, recommendation and patience for this project.
Looking forward to see another successful project with him!

I keep thinking that ARF has too thin subdials.

The same way as noob have fat ones, sadly. BTW the difference is much more clear to the naked eye with the fatter ones rather than the thinner.

Anyway, the bezels DO fade away. Mine survived for ~1 month, then it became completely dull. Bought an ARF donor watch to change parts..
