KJ is this an aluminum pepsi insert with ceramic specs? I have been hunting one! Mind sharing your source?

Nah it's a stock GMF bro. On the blue dial 16719 GMF uses WHITE marker fill - go figure. I did a paint mod on it to silver and had to touch up the transitions. Never a dull moment...

It's no Noob but usable in a pinch

KJ2020 thanks man, I recall that great tutorial, but I had forgotten how good the final product looked. I know others have said the same, but it's amazing how Noob is so much closer to the 126710 gen, but the lower end inserts are closer to slightly faded classic inserts, which I have always liked more.

The insert looks amazing, nice transition and colours

Idk if this is an early version of the Noob insert or something but I can't find any info on this, I tried to register on the link on the pictures which seems to be a chinese version of RWI but it says my IP is not in their allowed range, might be exclusive for chinese users I guess...

It’s your call but don’t do it ;)Pepsi is best enjoyed on jubilee. Look at page 1, OP put on a Sub oyster.

Hi

Thank you for your suggestion, but it would be better to put on the bracelet of 116710LN or 116710BLNR with the central shiny links.

Can anyone give me suggestions about it?

I wouldn't want to buy a factory bracelet and then I can't fit it.

Thank you

Thinking of buying a VRF Pepsi and a Noob Pepsi, swapping the inserts and selling the donor watch (Noob Pepsi with VRF insert). Anybody know if the Noob jubilee is better than the VRF (and thus should be swapped also)?

These colors are not true, some filtering was used to push both the blue and the red. No Noob Pepsi has the rich dark cherry / plum exhibited here between 14 and 18. Also, this sample has a worse than normal halo effect, where the fullness or "pigment" of color is significantly lighter in a narrow band toward the crystal. Again note how obvious it is from 14 -18. The only thing this insert has going for it is that its incorrect 18 transition point is low and not high. A correct 18 transition occurs coincident with the start of the opening of the 8 holes, about 15% into the 8.

Has anyone tried to replace the noob's Jubilee bracelet with an Oyster bracelet from the Noob BLNR or the LN?

I can't find anything about it.

Thank you

Also interested in this. I know the jubilee is beloved, but it’s just not my bag tbh. More an oyster fella.

I don't know which is the best, what interests me is that it can be fitted on the noob to replace the Jubilee

I think the question then is if the SELs are swappable. IIRC on the Daytona, ARF bracelet SELs wouldnt fit the Noob case so SEL swap was necessary to get the ARF oyster bracelet onto the Noob. If the Pepsi situation is similar, its definitely doable with the right tools (i.e. pliers). I'm getting ready to do it soon to my Daytona; I'll provide an update down the road.

You really should have a bracelet puller if you are going to swap SELs between bracelets. It's pretty easy to gouge or scar up bracelet pieces even with a puller if you aren't careful. One should practice first on junk parts, and surprisingly, putting small squares of 600 or 400 grit sandpaper between the puller blocks and the bracelet pieces helps a lot in keeping them from getting scarred. The sandpaper goes grit side toward the bracelet piece - it keeps the puller block from losing its grip and sliding off under tension, which leaves a scar.
