Beautiful bro! The red is more toward cherry/burgundy than the Noob, the difference is subtle but significantly better. I doubt Rolex changes this version of it, the colors have become the standard. Wear it in good health!

KJ - I think it is lighting. I was pretty surprised by the color of the insert (both Gen and Rep) changing significantly as we go up the Kelvin scale. Here is the Noob - Left natural lighting, right 5500K daylight led flash.

Noob is very well made - great SEL fitment on the Noob case and the clasp open/close is pretty smooth (like the ARF ones). I had mine cleaned and refinished/polished by Jonj480 , some pics attached.

Try as I might though, I can't get a Noob to look cherry red like the gen does in almost every pic you see of it. There is just that subtle unmistakable hue that screams GEN for those who know. It's like a gen Hulk insert - the difference is simultaneously slight and enormous.

Even the gen has the "cherry red" only under certain lighting. Here is the gen under normal lighting with Noob like color. Unless the person is a Pepsi connoisseur, it will be hard to differentiate.

I will try to play with the Noob and see if we can get that shade...

Congrats on the gen BLRO.
I agree that the reps are really good and you really only see the difference in the dial, hands, indices etc when you hold the watches close together and really close to the eyes. Or make a macro photo of it.
I do think the Noob's red is too brown and even the blue is too warm, the gen is somehow colder and there is a touch of grey/black in both the red and the blue that the noob does not replicate. Still the best insert with the others showing an obvious white ridge and the transition often in the wrong spot.
But one must doff one's hat to the skill of the rep makers these days.

Noob hands have ETA hands holes, none of them are the same size as a 3185/6 or 3285. A really exceptional watchmaker like misiekped or tickleshoes can mod the hand holes so they will fit but a better plan IMO would be to source some hands that fit natively. VRF Pepsi, aftermarket or gen.

It’s your call but don’t do it Pepsi is best enjoyed on jubilee. Look at page 1, OP put on a Sub oyster.
