Vvvlllooo Sorry if this has been asked before, but does the lume of the GMF dial matches the Noob hands well?

Thanks!

The lume does not match as the noob hands are brighter than the gmf dial. It doesn't bother me as much as I don't tend to use my watch at night. It's not worth the investment of reluming them to match, at least for me.

Does anyone know if there is a color change in the insert between first and late versions?

Thanks in advance

Not that I've seen, but the insert can look quite different in various lighting.

People had said there was but I don’t think it’s too far off from each other. Still well made inserts

GMF, just for comparison. I was surprised the insert markers are WHITE, I've already dug them out in prep for a paint mod

Take a pict of the insert from the back if you can, thanks.

GMF insert fun.

This is an interesting approach to a bicolor ceramic from our Chinese watchmaking wizards and makes perfect sense. The insert base is all blue, then it has a notch on the red side that fits a thinner stairstep piece that was separately molded in red. The white lines we see at the joints are from glue, no doubt epoxy. Nearly all of it can be scraped away, and/or covered up with a paint pen. This insert construction requires that the cutouts be more shallow than the Noob, and is probably why they used white paint filled to the tops of the cutouts. I am confident I can do a nice looking silver paint mod to it, same as an aftermarket one now.
