I have a GMF dial coming and so when I do get it, will install and post up pictures. Dial was $110 from Andrew from Trusty time made to bolt onto the movement without mods. I am amazed by the quality and how this rep is made. Makes me question my gens.

DAMN $110 for a dial is highway robbery! He must figure it's going in an expensive watch, so it will be right at home, lol. Rep dials should be ~$35.

Yes for bezel assembly. For movement and hands, no, if you go gmt..I would build with 3135 V9 noob,,,or v10...I’ve seen some builds like that already

Bro ive totally lost you now. How would you suggest me to build black gmt 116710ln then? Is GMF dial that better than Noob and should I consider that one? I mean if it cant take gen dial

If this were mine I would ask the TD for an ICHS movement and hand set. Any watchmaker can do either swap for you. Same dial, movement holder, stem and crown.

As far as working on the CHS, I'll try to get a simple comprehensive post up soon on the fix several of us arrived at. It's also something any watchmaker can do once it's understood what is needed. The fix locks the GMT hand to the hour hand, each retaining its individual period of rotation. However you can manually set a GMT offset between the hands if desired when pressing them. The fix also restores the quickset date feature, so I think it's an acceptable compromise.

Thanks for the advice bro. I’m hoping Andrew at TT comes through with a movement for me, I’ve offered to pay for it so hopefully he’ll do the right thing!

I’ll keep an eye out for your mod/fix post too.

First GMF dial is better than noobs. Markings are a lot better and correct.

You can put gen dial on but you have to cut the feet to make it fit. Let me do some homework for LN build and I will PM you

Thanks for sharing and it looks really great. I have one question though: Can someone please explain why nobody makes round/soft corners on the hour markers at 6, 9 and 12 - like the gen has? Is it really that hard to do? It’s such an easy tell in pictures. I’m sorry if this has been discussed before (which it probably has )

i see gen bezels are going for 2-300 on ebay, could you just swap the gen one into this one? fixes the color issue and the font issue..

You won't find a real gen Rolex ceramic Pepsi insert on Ebay period, let alone at that price.

The LN version is coming.. i have a gen bezel and a prof crystal, but that movement is a dealbraker...

The noob dial is very good. If you looked at my video, the print and font is very similar to gen, only problems are the 6 and 9 markers. They are very wide. It’s minimal but for me I can tell, markers are usually my tell if a watch is fake or gen.
