Got my CQ from Jay at Chazing Time. Is the font a bit yellowish or is it the camera they using that has the wrong colors?

You have nothing to worry about; it's the lighting conditions/camera/filter(s). I looked at the QC pics of my Noob and they look very similar.

Also got my 372 Noob QC today, the things I seen so far is the "Cal P 3000" sits to close to "swiss made", the cg pin is stickning out, or maybe thats just the angle the photo is taken from. If someone who knows the 372 better would chime in I would greatly appriciate it.

My Noob is the same - Toro says the engravings are all the same on current batch. CG pin looks the same as mine, mines just about flush with the CG.

Mine is perfect there, I can't see anything wrong with yours though, maybe dust? Possibly something on the 'E' in Panerai but that could be dust too and I would accept that either way.

I've just ordered one from Toro at the reduced price. It's my first one so hoping for a nice smooth transaction.

Yeah thought so too. Asking for a wipe down and another pic. Wonder if I could press that cg pin myself to make sit flush on the cg. Have you tried?

Fair enough if you're not sure best to check. I've been thinking of doing it as its just about flush but thinking should be a teeny bit lower than it is - not going to attempt it without a guide though, saw one once and lost it!

My little contribution, I should receive QC pics today or tomorrow and then receive it and wear it :)
by the way, i tried to find detailed information regarding the winding of the watch, how many times exactly does the watch must be rewind per day? or is there anything that will prevent me to broke it if i rewind it too much or is there an indicator (i.e: the strength to apply that is increasing)?
also knowing its price vs the GEN one in term of accuracy, and longevity, what exactly do i have to expect? something that i can keep all my life with very good accuracy or within 2 years from now i can throw it away?

I can't recall how many winds are needed total or per day. However, and this applies to any 6497-based movement, it will tighten up and not allow you to wind it any further. Mine has a power reserve of 58 hours and 40 minutes so I would advise you to only wind it every two days to avoid any excessive wear and tear.

The 6497 is a rock solid movement that should last quite a while... Much much longer than 2 years. The great thing also is that the movement should be easily serviced by any competent watchsmith and parts are interchangeable with Swiss ones if needed.

In terms of accuracy, mine is as good as my gen 372. I have wound both up and checked them every 24 hours and they were both very accurate after 5 days (relative to my iPhone).

Thanks for that. More eager to get mine now

Ordered on Thursday and waiting patiently for my QC pics. How long is it sensible to wait for before bouncing him an email. I was thinking of giving it a week and then chasing Toro with a quick email. Does that sound reasonable or not?

mine bought Thursday 9th too, waiting QC pics. Are the watches build on demand :) or are they selling so many watches that they are under water?

Can anyone please point me in the right direction for straps as well please I know there's a section in the TD area but any recommendations would be great. I do believe it's a 26mm for the 372? Thanks in advance everyone.

Also my appoligies if this should t be posted here?

The Di Stefano David and Alchemist looks absolutely amazing on the 372:

If you want to go cheaper, there are several straps on sale for €50:

Yes I did have a look earlier actually. I think a decent strap is a must as.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Anyone else know of any for under £100?
