My earlier Noob 243 v2 relumed by Vac. A real torch.
That’s nice. I was always a big fan of watches that are not too shiny. This one is matte which I prefer. How much bulkier is it?

It's the same 44mm diameter but the case is about 3mm thicker. Lug to lug length is more too. It's got real presence!
How hard are those to get lately. I may go that route. I love the matte look and it looks sportier.

Hmmm... I emailed every TD here and on RG and also non TDs, except joshua... all ofthem told me Noob Pam 029M is long out of stock... I ended up buying one Noob -I got lucky- off of m2m on RG..
I carefully reviewed these pictures and can't be 100% sure its a noob -its definitely not a cheapie- particularly by the depth and quality of the bezel numbers (too thin) and the lume, noob is defnitely superlumed and this is not. check kilowattore's review here:

Another important factor, ALL the Noob Pam 029M on m2m I checked have the following serial on the CB:
BB 1418005 and M0873/1000
The one you linked to has this:
yours BB 1418589 AND M0467/1000

That's an interesting observation, my 243 was a random serial so I assumed the 029 had random serials as well from Noob. Probably a last batch made up of remaining parts from their v1 and v2 runs? A "V1.5" so to say. Largely v2 with a v1 crystal/ CG. The dial is definitely a v2 because of the thickness of the hour markers. Bezel is spot on,it was just parallax error in the QC images. That's why I posted a set of my own pictures once I received it.
When I asked Josh, he told me bought off the stock from Noob when their ownership was transferred and the new owners were cleaning out their old stock.
Mine definitely has superlume, comparable to kilowattore's. I certainly noted some subtle differences in the CG lever shape, edges and the cyclops edge thickness.
All said and done, I am quite satisfied with what $283+$18 (import duty) got me. The tuxedo dial is stunning. The watch will be going to Strodda for a relume of both hands and dial and might have him do Swiss movement swap as well (pending quote).
I had checked with few popular rep sellers on DHGate for their 029 offerings and they all had the A-series with second markers on the dial. No M-series and certainly not of this level.

My 243 had both a relume by VAC and Prof's 2AR. Both mods had me spoilt for choice.
The 029 will definitely be going to lume master Strodda. I think a 2AR would be wrong for the 029 as I went through multiple pictures and especially videos of the Gen 029 and the crystal has a lot of glare, part of the beauty of this PAM I feel. A custom 2AR would take that away from us hence making it less gen-like. A custom 1AR would be an improvement but one enough to warrant the investment, I am not sure yet.
What about an improved crystal over the stock one? maybe a WSO or ask prof steve directly for one of his 1xAR swiss sapphires.
did you npt stop to think the dhgate seller is stealing the QC pics from Perfect Clones? instead of suggesting a dealer is pulling stock from "dhgate bins" whatever the hell they are supposed to be

I never said same QC pics as PC.
I just noticed subtle oddities in my QC which weren't coherent with the Noobs I had seen here. Given that PC was the only dealer with these in stock, I wanted to confirm if there wasn't any misrepresentation involved given PC's lack of TD status on RWI. He is on RG however.

Another interesting observation. My 029 seems to have flared CG and not flat. Acc to Grimlocktime's thread that is correct for the 029, same as his Eddie Lee caseset. Not sure if all Noob 029s have this too.
How do you like it so far. I haven’t pulled the trigger with PC so far. Still debating.

Happy with everything except the lume. It's applied evenly but a dead giveaway as a rep. I'll be sending in for a relume when Strodda is accepting new work.
