Noob or DH Gate cheapie - 029 GMT

The CG pin is not just flushed but recessed like the Gen. The inner edges though could be squarer, slightly rounded right now but nothing that can be seen once on the wrist, only in macro pics.
This is definitely a Noob v2. Had also discussed with the master Mysterio on PM before I accepted the watch.

That's a dhgate find? I have noticed that (supposedly) a lot of older noob versions and noob frankens are making their way into dhgate seller's hands.

@TimesASpinnin this is the DHGate find sold by a top rep seller there.The DH gate cheapy from a '2nd year Factory Seller' recommended by DHGate.
Emphasis on supposedly. Where did you get you info? Selling sought after Noob PAMs (and Frankens, really?) on the cheap over at DHGate instead of in the fora is absurd. Provide links so I can buy them. :lol:

Wow, I posted links to submariners. Man, I must be tired. Sorry guys. Never mind. Ignore my bonehead comment. I must be tired tonight.
So long story short, I had been looking for a correct as per gen GMT Panerai to replace my 243.
As luck would have it, most of the models previously termed super-reps have been out of production since at least 2 years. The 029, 297, 088 etc
@mysterio suggested I mail TDs if in case even one had old stock.
In my case, a TD on other fora but not here turned up with a Noob 029.
I received my QC pics yesterday, all good, the CG pin and lever looked off but I thought its probably batch variation but I hadn't give my go ahead till I came across @Gcnlm995 's post under the non-TD review section on how DH gate cheapies were misrepresented and being sold for $338.
This made me go back and do a retake my QC pics and a quick search on DH Gate which turned up with at least a dozen sellers selling the 029 for $100 and thereabouts.
Here's a comparison picture I put together with the Noob QC images from Josh's site and the one he's selling me. What does the gentry think?

How is the brown leather strap that cane with it? Did you keep it or swap it out?

Quite poor as you may imagine.
I swapped it out with my gen Pam rubber strap within the first hour.
How do you like 029 overall? I’m just worried the PAM crown guard may be too big for my small wrist. This is my 1st one and I just don’t want it to be uncomfortable.

My earlier Noob 243 v2 relumed by Vac. A real torch.Lume is quite poor too. Definitely needs a relume. Contacted Strodda for the same.
