I just got mine from the post office. I'll post some pics when I get home, but it looks absolutely fantastic in my opinion.

I don't have a great eye for detail, but it looks as close to genuine as I think it's realistic to ever get without going for the real thing. I was prepared to stump up for a gem insert if this didn't come off, but I'll be keeping my cash. I think this mod is worth every penny.

Also, as others have said, Steve is an absolute gent. I made a total mess of removing the insert and sent the watch to him in pieces. He put it all back together and cleaned the dial for me. He wouldn't accept any cash for helping me out either.

Good to hear this mod is taking off, Steve sounds like a true gentleman!

@d09624008 You should consider selling some watches with your insert already installed like Prof does with his crystals. I'm sure plenty would be interested (like me), who don't want to deal with removing the insert themselves.
