Noob ceramic insert with platinum plating

I find 175 quite expensive for a rep insert, but it's awesome what Spongebob has achieved so far nontheless!

It is expensive no doubt. I have two inserts, actually three including the one on the watch. He quoted me a price for two and it is what it is I guess. I've paid a fortune already for inserts for my six digit sub. If he wasn't overseas I'd a done it already. This hobby has me by the throat.

It is a lot, but not compared to buying a Gen insert. Since I personally feel that the Bezel insert and the crystal is the biggest tell (unless the rep is a total POS) it is worth it. Now that being said, I don't have any Smoke PPM inserts yet. But I am going to get some spare inserts done with his mod.
If I had limited money for a SubC, it would be an easy decision- Noob v7 SA3135, Serviced, Gen Crystal, Gen Crown and Smoke PPM. But since I had some spare cash, I got a Spongbob Platinum edition.

Sharpie is pure shit and can't compare to GEN, this is known across the board.

Any suggestions how to remove the old bezel insert?I need to put a hairdryer to make it hot so i can remove it easily?
And how do i glue the new insert in place?Any help would be much appreciated.

WSO sells 3M adhesive rings precut to the size for the bezel insert on ebay. They are inexpensive

I made a complete mess of this and had to send the entire watch head to Steve to rescue! I think there is some advice further back in the thread - just be more careful than I was!

My watch and insert are back in the UK and should be with me today or tomorrow - I'll post some pics when it arrives.

Steve has also been very kind to me and offered to help with one insert and a pearl issue. I have two inserts to send. Just saving the cash for both. It's not cheap but very worth it.
