Sponge is good, but imho The Smoke Mod is better.
Sharpie attached - light years away from What Smoke offers.

My sharpies are shit. The Smoke Mod is long lasting with correct color, the durability of the sponge is yet to be proven.

Here is mine. I have it for 2 months now and still looking as the day it arrived.
I've been swimming both in the pool and salt water sea. No damage what so ever.

Of course they do ! The insert looks gen, apart from the different green color of course. What about the quality?Does the numbers have the "platinum feeling"?

Of course they do ! The insert looks gen.
Steve heats platinum in vacuum and it evaporates coating everything it comes in contact with (the insert).
So the numbers being coated in real platinum look like platinum. No doubt here.

Not really. It's an industry standard way of coating things. Rolex couldn't to it better themselves. My sharpies are shit. The Smoke Mod is long lasting with correct color, the durability of the sponge is yet to be proven.
I guess he would have called you out even if you wore a gen lolI did get called out yr.day! My first time. A street hawker in Bangkok tried to sell me a $35 Sub that looked like something out of a horror movie. I told him "me hab original, me not need copy na khap" He than came in closer for inspection and proclaimed " not original "
It might have been the sharpie, it might have been the SEL or lack of AR, but I was called out by someone that does not have running water. The Sponge might have saved me there...

for sputtering you need to etch the ceramic with acid or the plat will not adhere. really for any process of metallic coating of ceramic you need this..
