Ok so here is 30 minutes with NL and SL

NL gf15f left. SL X1 GL c3

Initially blasted with uv

Slowly dying......

Fun fact the left watch had rep lume on the hands. The conclusion to this thread! If you want the longest lasting lume with price as no object buy SL grade X1 for $60 a gram plus a hefty shipping... If you want something cheaper easy to get and not off by much compared to SL get NL. Daylight color is perfect on SL. Very even and clean looking. I will use both but for my best reps I will use SL... It's just so damn expensive!!!! Lol

Just looked into that business and decided to start soon, but with a Sandwich dial. Seems to be a lot more 'forgiving'

BRAVO, I read the whole thing! This has got to be one of the most fascinating threads I have ever read. Hitman your attention to detail and your well written explanation is truly worthy of REP points +.

Now I must ask how do you charge your lume and for how long? I don't stand around in the sun much as I already have the non lethal skin cancer. I have a UV flashlight and sometimes before bed I will stand over my watch boxs and charge the lume on my collection just to see them glow but this is silly, I was thinking of getting a UV table lamp of some sort, I could also set a couple watches in the window sill all day but I'm pretty sure our windows are all anti UV glass from the remodel in 97. Also as far as I'm concerned the Lume on my new Omegas (2015) is not much better than most of my rep lume. The Sandwich dial rep 388s are very nice, almost two years ago I paid VAC to relume my BK DSSD and really its not better than the BK sub c and BK no date sub c that sit to the left and right of it.

Thank you sir!!! I am here to inform. I just use a uv flashlight for 10 seconds right up against the crystal. If you want real charging power get a 1000 lumen tactical flashlight but a good one $75-$120 as they will be true to their output ratings.

This is why everyone should lume their reps!!!

Superluminova X1 GL C3 left Rep lume right. They claim to use Superluminova on Pam 111 but they sure don't look super! Lol

I must say that I use noctilumina all the time. Very happy about the product. I have never gotten a charge like you display here though, I only use sunlight or daylight lamp, as I want real representation of the lume. I also don't support the claims that it will emit light for houts after exposure. It is a very good lume however and rivals superluminova.

Is there any way we can start a datebase for what lumes are used on each model? For instance : 5 Digit Rolex w/green lume (sub, gmt, sd)... use XXXX NL pigment etc. etc.
