Oh no, reps ARE available alright...I have seen them advertised locally in Hong Kong.

However since I've got the gen so I haven't really looked into the details.

Absolutely no idea. Unlike Rolex, Tudor never released any info on what the indices and hands are made of...but I'm guessing gold plated steel.

The rep isn't out yet, all the pictures in this thread are of the Gen.

That is one good looking watch! I can't wait to pick one up. GEN first then maybe second generation REP. I'm guessing the first generation is going to be pretty poor, don't you think?

I love the way gen looks, I wanted this and I got a gen 116613LB at the end but really looking to see this replicated and nicely if possible... I have read that the gen has plated gold as well (not full gold links) but it's good for polishing like 10 times so the rep would not feel too light comparing to gen I suppose. The full gold mid-link bluesy is heavier than the plated versions

That's correct, the bracelet mid-links of the Tudor are gold-capped (gold-fill as per vintage watch terminology). In the case of the crown, there's .6mm of gold, and in the case of the links there is .25mm of gold. Both the end links and the bezel are solid gold.

Spot on [emoji1303]

Actually I did take a photo showing the thickness of the gold cap on the bracelet mid links...the lighting wasn't very good but you get the idea.

The appearance of the link bolt hole...is that an insert or just a play of the light on the chamfer?
Great photo, BTW.

Thanks.

I think it's just the light playing tricks...the holes are all chamfered but I don't think there's any insert.
