Anyone took the plunge with one of these yet and got some pics?

I think the dial looks much more gen like without the shiny sub-dials, even if the numbers are slightly skinny. Doubt it will be noticeable on the wrist without a side-by-side comparison.

Not sure if this is the same video again you've posted, but the sub-dials are completely different gen v ZF - instantly I can see the difference.

I'm glad you're happy with the ZF, but I'd say the YLF will be a more popular choice, as long as its movement is solid, since it looks closer to gen.

Please don't take my confusion as argumentative; but when you said ZF is the best you can buy and not to "waste my time with YLF", were you were basing your opinion on that video above?

If you really are a flawless watch man, you wouldn't touch the ZF with a barge pole due to those shiny sub-dials, so I'm not sure why you've got such a strong opinion on it being superior.

But hey; if you're trying to help others by showing good comparison videos, I'm all for it! [emoji16]

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Have a look a gen subdials as above, then have a look at ZF, look at SWF and YL. Make your own decision

Maybe I'm missing something, but I say there isn't ANY sunburst on the gen white dials. There are some 3714 models with sunburst dials, but these aren't them.

I think the hype surrounding the latest ZF 3714 was mostly about the thinner movement, with better sub-seconds gear transfer, which was basically a clone of the gen 79350.

Hi. Sorry for asking another question on sunburst dials. But as an alternative how about the ardoise dials like the one

Believe this combo is only available by ZF and definitely should have a sunburst effect.

May I ask for people's opinion on whether this would be a good alternative 3714? (Just seems like the white dial from ZF is the only one with with easy sunburst tell)

We can see that the gen dial shines even more than the rep.

I hate white dials that have this silver/metallic effect anyways. White should just be white lol, like black

I like sunburst effects on blue and grey dials a lot though

I'm planning to get the 3714 and here it is, ZF vs YLF. Does anyone actually ordered the YLF who could share some pictures and opinion with us? A tear down of the movement on the YLF would be great too! Thanks!
