New VSF 441 12hour GMT

Bought the v2, compared with my kwf 438...
1) The dial - kwf better (the vsf has thin fonts and wrong color of "L swiss made L" (very light color and thin fonts), all other fonts on the dial are also thin
2) color of hands and marker - much lighter than kwf (kwf better)
3) the CP - vsf size of CP is better (kwf is smaller)
4) the CG - vsf the little circle is shinny not matte
5) when want to setting the hour hand...its a bit loose so when you get this, check it too....
So I decided to sell my new vsf v2 and still keep my kwf438
My kwf:
On pics might hard to see, but in person its clearly seen...Im not sure if its the problem of qc or not but wish this help people who want to buy to check it before purchase so you could get the best one...

Why not swap the dial and cg from the kw into the vsf, take the kw bracelet, service the movement and own the best 438 around?

I wanted to do that too...However, the new vsf movement could not fit with kwf hands and dial as the size of cp and the core (tube from movement to make hands moving) are not the same size bro....and I also could not just swap the dial as the color of their hands and dial are not the same too...

Well, when I am looking on this gen vs. vsf comparison pics... it looks right to me. you need to compare the 441 vs 441, I am not an expert, but maybe there are some differences between 438 and 441???

Yes bro many parts vsf is better, size of CP for sure and movement and may be some parts on the dial and others part I did not recognize...
Also, want ALE confirm this as well ^__^ Actually I just wanted point out so experts could give more info

5) meant when you pull the crown out to adjust the hour hand...the crown is loose....it might be bad qc...so just want people who will buy this asking the td to check this too....just want others to get the best one..

If they're recent, they usually are. That and VSF is essentially what was called KW back in the day and ceramic parts are probably only made by one sub-factory. Except for the lever pin, which could have changed suppliers hence the observation.
Quick Q, while I await QC pics - just wanted to check is the only cosmetic difference of the v2 the tinted caseback?

No, the tinted caseback is a feature of the PAM441 and is also on the V1 P.9001 version. The V2's main improvement is the movement.
I see, thanks for that! So for QC pics, will just have to take the word of the td that they have sourced a V2 I assume.
If you really do not trust them you could ask for a video of them moving just the hour hand via the crown.
If I would just trust them.
Same here although looking at his join date, this is probably one of his first if not the first purchase from a TD. Or it's just simply a figure of speech.
