IMO this one has come a long way and is one of tge better watches out there. I use the 312 vsf as a daily and it feels every bit gen. The v1 441 that i had felt the same way.

Mine is fantastic. Only thing I dont love off the back is the strap. Seems my strap was oiled or something compared to my other VSF 386...not sure what the deal is, but its no biggie. My crown action feels a little on the delicate side too, but havent had a problem yet. Other than that, I cant tell which one I love more, the 441 or 386.
Im definitely getting another 441 when I get the chance. Thos time v2

Indeen I know what ceramic is, I am just telling you guys what can happen and what happend to me... and it did happen easily. I really take care about my watches. Somehow they have to match the color of the watch and that is independet of the material I guess... I did not have accidents with diamonds but I have remark on several places... I just call them scratches, by the way, there is nothing to rub away or to clean, the surface ist just damaged for me... a little bit shiny. All remarks looks the same, but I did not colide with the same things, so it is not the other material leaving a remark on it from itself, it is the watch surface which is damaged in my opinion.
I have tried to take a picture but it is difficult.
If anyone has an idea how to make it to disappear, I will try it out...

We can't really say. You could say it happened to you but we don't know if it is the same situation since we're basing on just your words.
I've had those on my PAM438 before. Wiping (sometimes with a bit more effort for a few ones) usually does the trick.
I think I can end the smoked caseback discussion. I received mine yesterday and caseback is clearly smoked. If it is dark enough I cannot measure from gen pictures. it could only be determined side by side. I tried to take pictures but the smoked effect never comes out as it is IRL. But clearly the movement has the nice grey-brownish look I see on gen pictures.

Agreed. @Gasebah please post a picture. The problem with this particular situation is that even in pictures the gen is clearly smoked. On the rep it only looks smoked IRL, as you say. But on the V1 rep, it was already smoked sufficiently like gen that the effect was visible even in pictures.
OK guys. I will try my best to make a picture tomorrow. Problem is I only have an iPhone and no decent camera. Now the iPhone automatically pumps up the light and all the pictures I made so far make the movement appears way too light. And quite frankly there are a lot gen photos as well where you can hardly recognize that it is a tinted glass. Unfortunately I do not meet the minimum requirements to post links on this forum. I usually post on the other side.
